  • What a wonderful lucky find the Carriage House turned out to be.
So very comfortable and incredibly well equipped with everything one would need for either a short break or longer stay. Bryson and her husband (and dog Kramer) could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived.
The location of the property is excellent although we had a car has we intended to tour some of the amazing places in Southern Pennsylvania it was in fact so easy via public transport to go back into central Philadelphia from the local station 10 minutes walk from the property ( 30 minutes into city) or alternatively a local bus from literally 3 minutes from property. Both forms of travel incredibly reliable and cheap. We would highly recommend the Carriage House for either a touring base or a city based vacation if as we were interested in the amazing history of the area or the arts and museums scene.
Just so much better value than any hotel.
We had an amazing time, and the weather was even fantastic! We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough.
    Thanks Bryson.
    Steve and Diane.

    Thanks to Bryson and Family.

  • The Carriage House is perfect in every way - charming yet modern, spacious, and very comfortable. Bryson is a perfect host - I'll definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

  • My last 4 weeks at the carriage house was bittersweet. I had to finally say goodbye to all the convenient comforts of this cozy & very private home away from home I grew to love from December 2013-February 2014. With dozens of snow storms greeting me along the way, this house & the Walker family kept me feeling safe & warm while their dog Kramer kept my spirits bright. Again what an adorable place in a fantastic location on the Mainline. As a 1st time AirBNB user, for me, Bryson was simply an amazing hostess with hospitality just engrained in who she is. Enjoy your stay folks!

  • Bryson & her entire family have contributed to a wonderful stay at the carriage house every time a snow storm should have scared me back to Florida. She acts with such consideration & care making sure I arrive safely & have everything I need during the inclement weather. Bryson/her husband/son(s) have kept the walk way to the house cleared, shoveled snow to dig my car out, cleared off my windshield covered in ice on mornings before work. All things not expected of my stays but tells you the character of this house goes beyond a warm & comfortable home...It's the people.

  • I'm booking 30 days at a time now. That should speak for itself! :) Each time I return, the house is in immaculate condition & feels like I never left. I will miss them terribly when I move in March but will be glad to be nearby. This location has been the best for someone unfamiliar with what the suburbs of Philly has to offer. So cost effective & much nicer than staying in a hotel. A+++ as usual.

  • What can we say that hasn't already been said? It was a wonderful Christmas staying at the Carriage House. We will of course return, and we look forward to it EVERYTIME. See you in 2014!

  • Stay #3 for another 5 days and Bryson was very considerate in checking in to make sure I arrived safely due to all the inclement weather/snow storms Philly had over the past week. The house was in excellent working order as usual and she made sure the home was nice and toasty for me. I'm starting to feel spoiled and not sure I'm using a lot of urgency in finding my own home yet like I should be! :) You will have not regrets in booking a short term or long term stay in this house.

  • Stay #2 for another 5 days and I was NOT disappointed. There were other guests that booked and stayed over the holiday weekend while I was gone and I would've never known it based on the excellent condition of the house upon my arrival. Completely spotless & ready for me without skipping a beat. The carriage house location has also really proven to be quite convenient for the amount of driving I've been doing for work. It is so centrally located near major highways, center city, the airport, but also shopping & restaurants nearby! My husband came up from Florida to go househunting and we also met Bryson's husband Kelly this time. Such a fun and dynamic couple. Love this house.

  • It was a short Thanksgiving trip but as usual, always comfortable and restful at the carriage house. We love it! Already missing Kramer. See you around Christmas. Stay here, you won't regret it.

  • I am in the middle of relocating from Florida to Philly for a new position within my company and with less than 24-hours notice, I was able to book and receive a quick confirmation from Bryson for a 7-day stay just before the Thanksgiving holiday. I was looking for a cozy home away from home to familiarize myself with the area, rather than staying in a hotel room for my 1st week and what I got was even better than expected. Much of this was a combination of the home itself, its convenient location and Bryson's exceptional personality and natural desire to "help" someone she meets for the first time as if they were part of her family. Bryson went out of her way in accommodating me for a late evening arrival and gave me such a warm welcome upon getting there. The house was immaculate to say the least and absolutely charming with great extra amenties such as a full bathroom/shower with plenty of hot water, washer/dryer unit for laundry, full kitchen & utensils for cooking, refrigerator which she had thoughtfully stocked with water & milk, and a basket of healthy snacks in case I was hungry, which I was! The 2nd floor upstairs has a huge open layout bedroom including a sitting area, desk, cofee table, and plenty of storage space for clothing. Needless to say, I felt so comfortable, safe and at ease during my stay, I didn't even think twice about immediately booking for three (3) additional consecutive weeks throughout the month of December! Also an added bonus is their adorable little dog, Kramer, who happily greeted me each morning or night, and I, like everyone else, missed him when I left. :) Not only am I grateful for the chance experience of staying at the carriage house making my stressful relocation that much more enjoyable, but for the sincere care and unexpected encouragement Bryson has offered when she could have simply been a transactional host to a rental guest she just met. A+++ all around!
