Other Things to Note
Most guest agreed with this review: The home is lovely, and attention was put into every detail from the keyless entry, to firewood stacked outback for their fire pit. The beds (all five of them) were cozy, as is the house. Walk across the tarmac and you'll find yourself in a hidden ravine with crystal clear waters and blue skies. All in all, an amazing escape.
Absolutely no smoking inside the house and no pets.
Do not leave litter on land or yard.
Store personal garbage in designated areas and use recycling containers.
Treat this home as you would if the owner were there. Leave the place in the condition you found it and report any damages immediately.
The wood stove is for use by guests with experience operating wood stoves only. Due to the risk of fire, we ask that the wood stove be tended to at all times.
The outside fire pit must be extinguished after each use.
I started staying in the Catskills a few years ago for a break from the city, work sometimes keeps me from enjoying this wonderful space but that also has its beauty as it allows me to share this beautiful space and its magic with other people of similar esthetics.
I am a restauranteur who its always entrepreneuring into new interests. A love of nature, architecture, furnishing, interior design and yoga ties it all together... and my love of traveling!
My goal its to make sure that guests feel as at home in as they would if this were their own country house. That when they leave this magic upon cheek out, they would feel completely recharged. It is a vacation, after all!
