Other Things to Note
Most guest agreed with this review: The home is lovely, and attention was put into every detail from the keyless entry, to firewood stacked outback for their fire pit. The beds (all five of them) were cozy, as is the house. Walk across the tarmac and you'll find yourself in a hidden ravine with crystal clear waters and blue skies. All in all, an amazing escape.
Absolutely no smoking inside the house and no pets.
Do not leave litter on land or yard.
Store personal garbage in designated areas and use recycling containers.
Treat this home as you would if the owner were there. Leave the place in the condition you found it and report any damages immediately.
The wood stove is for use by guests with experience operating wood stoves only. Due to the risk of fire, we ask that the wood stove be tended to at all times.
The outside fire pit must be extinguished after each use.
Our group of 10 friends sharing a reunion weekend loved the house. Everything we needed was right there - great kitchen, outdoor fire pit and BBQ, horseshoes and badminton, a nap in the hammocks or up by the pond, and even a swim in the river after a day of mountain biking.
Patricia was quick to respond via email to any questions and her caretaker across the street was also there if we needed her. We really weren't in need of anything though as the house had everything as described. Check in and out were extremely simple.
Especially loved all the outdoor seating and 'hang out' areas around the property, as well as enjoying family style meals at the large dining room table. Highly recommended!
In one word - fantastic!
From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. Communication was clear and convenient. when we got to the house we were welcomed by the property manager Debbie, who was pleasant and friendly.
The house is cosy, clean, beautifully designed and meticulously equipped.
It was everything we needed for a break from the city on a wintery weekend. Thank you, Patricia!

Excellent home and excellent host. We had a lovely time and loved every moment. A perfect getaway outside the city.
My stay at Cooper Hill House was perfect for a ski/snowboard weekend. Beautiful property inside and out, close to the mountains, cozy during this winter season and well stocked/spacious for our large group.
I bet summer months are even more special - the property is pretty spectacular with lots to explore.
Thank you Patricia!
The house is in an excellent location fir skiing (~30 mins) from hunter and windham. The house was comfortly able to accommodate all 7 guests with plenty of room for about 4 or 5 more. Patricia left very clear inductions in how to get into the house, the amenities of the house, as well as how to leave the house. The overall experience was absolutely wonderful.
Awesome awesome vacation!! My family and I stayed at Patricia's house to ring in the new year and it couldn't have gone better. The Copper Hill house is just right for bonding with your friends and family. There was a lot of privacy and not a lot of distractions around. There were 9 of us and we all we're more than comfortable. Windham mountain was only 20-25 min away. Patricia was very attentive and responded very quickly when we had questions. The property manager was also very nice and very informative. I HIGHLY recommend staying there and will definitely keep the Copper Hill house in mind for future trips.
About the Host, Patricia
We started staying in the Catskills a few years ago for a break from the city and loved it enough to make a little slice our own. Since work keeps us away sometimes, we wanted to share the joy we get from Copper Hill with other folks.
Lauren is a production designer for a tech company by profession and a photo illustrator by trade. Patricia is a restauranteur and is always entrepreneuring into new interests. A love of nature, architecture, furnishing and interior design ties it all together... and we love to travel too!
Being a fine mix of social and private, Copper Hill lends to similar people. There are friendly neighbors to chit-chat with and ways to be out and about, but ultimately we want to make sure our guests have the chance to feel as at home in as they would in their own and to recharge. It is a vacation, after all!
