About This Listing
A sunny one bed apartment in Sozopol with great views of the Black Sea. Satellite TV, air con and secure parking. There is a small shop by the complex for daily essentials. NO Internet in the flat but it is available in the garden.
Seaside apartment in Sozopol on the first line with superb views of the Black Sea and a large terrace for dining outside.
The apartment has one bedroom and can sleep two people. It has a fully-equipped kitchen. There is air-con in the living room. There is satellite TV. It has a washing machine. There is NO Internet in the flat but it is available in the garden outside.
There is secure parking with the apartment.
The complex has a large communal pool. There is a small beach directly in front of the complex. My husband swims off the rocks near us and collects mussels which we cook - fantastic with garlic, onions and white wine. The beautiful Blue-Flag Kavatzite Beach, on which there are fish restaurants and cafes, is a walk of 2 km.
There is a table tennis table by the pool and we keep bats and balls in the apartment.
There is a mini-market next to the complex which sells eggs, cheese, milk, yoghurt, juice, beer, wine, salami etc.. Taxis to Sozopol (about three km) cost 4-5 euros.
We will email you a detailed directions before your stay. We can arrange a transfer by taxi from Bourgas Airport for 25 euros.
Guests use the entire apartment in absolute privacy.
Interaction with Guests
We live elsewhere. The caretaker of the complex will provide keys to guests.
Kavatzite Beach is the closest beach - there are a few restaurants, snack bars and shops so you can pass the whole day there.
A little further south is Diuni Beach - a beautiful seashell beach which remains very uncrowded throughout the summer. Take a coolbox with food and drinks. A car is needed to reach it.
We drive to Sozopol in the mornings to buy fish, fruit and vegetables at the wholesale market - fresher and better prices than the supermarkets. We usually cook the fish on an electric barbecue at the apartment, and sometimes visit Sozopol in the evenings for a walk and a drink or meal.
Best to have a car.
Smoking on terrace only.
No pets allowed.
We were a little disappointed with the place. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived, there was no WiFi and no satellite TV (missing card), in contrast to what was advertised. We walked into a very hot apartment, all appliances unplugged, with no instructions. However, the hosts were very responsive and friendly. I think this may be a learning experience for them. The apartment is in a quiet complex full of British pensioners; the pool area is nice. The location is a bit remote. You really need a car. The price is high especially for Sozopol. We moved to a fancy hotel, the art anel complex, a few hundred meters away and ended up paying less.
We're sorry George was disappointed. We made an immediate and unsolicited 50 euros rebate at the time of his stay in the light of the absence of the TV satellite card. There is air-conditioning in the apartment - for this to be effective you must close doors and windows. There is internet in the garden (I am on it now). We will pay attention to George's advice and ensure improvements are made. That said we have been here three weeks and it is a quiet, relaxing and charming environment. Definitely agree with George that a car is advisable.
