Deirdre was very nice and welcoming. The studio was clean and neat, a little smaller than I envisioned, mostly the bathroom (sink). It was an easy place to get to and the drive was reserved for guests. Great homemade muffins for breakfast! Nice touch.
What a cute little apartment in a great neighborhood. Deirdre was an amazing host, she really wants you to be taken care of when you are staying with her. Her homemade breakfast can't be beat. A great way to end a long road trip.
Deirdre's listing is as wonderful as it sounds and looks in the description. The unit is light and airy and feels like you are in a tree house. There are plenty of windows for fresh air plus a/c if it is warmer. There is everything you could need during your visit...toiletries, cooking appliances, rain gear, and snacks.
Deirdre contacted me as soon as the unit was ready and provided us with warm fresh baked scones, cheese, fruit, and milk. She and her husband were very kind and friendly.
I would love to stay here again during future trips to Eugene!
Deirdre is so nice that she shows her hospitality and kindness to us. She always asks us whether or not we need help. Definitely the most helpful and kindest landlord! I will recommend everyone to stay in this quiet, warm place during the stay in Eugene.
What an adorable and cozy place to stay! Deirdre had the apartment spotless, and it was stocked with fresh towels and clean linens. There were quality bath products in the shower, and Deirdre left home made muffins in the refrigerator for us as well.
The apartment itself is nice and private, with lots of natural light. The place looks even better than in the pictures!
As a host, Deirdre was very accommodating, and made the check-in and check-out process easy and flexible. She messaged me as soon as the apartment was ready, which was great for us since we were visiting to go to the Duck game.
We would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay. Deirdre and Howard were very welcoming and respectful of our privacy. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a quiet, residential area within walking distance to two parks and the coolest old cemetery! The private deck was lovely also.
An Oasis on the Hill! Loved the space, the garden, private entrance/exit, off street parking, AND a room that felt like "home away from home." Fresh ground coffee? Yes. Top-notch amenities? Oh, yes. Plus, a beautiful garden, a patio overlooking Eugene, the softest bed I've slept on (besides me own!), and the most restful nights sleep I've gotten in a LONG time. Thank you, SO MUCH, Deidre, for making my 1st BnB experience a memorable one! 3
About the Host, Deirdre
I like living in Oregon. Raised our family here. Love the outdoors. Have an organic garden and a home based business. We do lots of cooking and take a casual approach to living and traveling. Like independence when traveling and would enjoy like minded travelers. Am willing to accomodate to visitors but not fuss over.
