We like this neighborhood. Easy access to Amazon Park and a nice walk to Beppe & Gianni's. Cozy space and quiet. Cafe Mam coffee (whole bean!) and Deirdre made us fresh muffins in the morning!
This was a beautiful spot and a lovely apartment, thoughtfully cared for. Really a gem. Would have liked to have stayed longer. House and grounds beautifully planted and surrounded by trees plus parking on site. A wonderful private feel and a small outside deck for relaxing. Deirdre was an engaging and knowledgeable host that even answered my plant questions.
Thank you Allan for the lovely review and for expanding my knowledge of Rose Campion. It was a team effort. I will have to pass on the information to my talented friend who is a font of creativity when it comes to turning out wonderful objects using skills from bygone times.
Hope to see you in the future.
I really enjoyed my stay - the apt was just as described and was a wonderful place to rest after a long busy day. The host was very gracious! I will definitely be back!
Deirdre was the best! She met me in the front yard and was so friendly from beginning to end. The apartment is cozy and almost everything about it is environmentally friendly. I love finding little surprises like that.
In addition to a small, tasty breakfast, Deirdre even provided me with aloe to alleviate my sunburn. She is so kind!
The rental was clean and very convenient. It had all the amenities we needed and it was nice to be able to park in the driveway. Deirdre was very friendly.
Quiet neighborhood, easily accessible by car or bike from major streets in the area.
Clients with mobility issues should be aware that there are flights of stairs involved: first down to a common deck and thence up a long flight to the room.
We were really happy we chose to stay at Deirdre's place. It was quiet and convenient. She communicated clear directions for checking in ahead of time in case she was out. The place was bright and comfortable. She had thought of everything we might need (books and maps, toiletries, hair dryer, etc). There's even an A/C unit for super hot days (like it was when we were there!). Deirdre brought us warm, homemade muffins for breakfast, which we really appreciated as we had a long day of driving ahead of us. Highly recommend this place!
About the Host, Deirdre
I like living in Oregon. Raised our family here. Love the outdoors. Have an organic garden and a home based business. We do lots of cooking and take a casual approach to living and traveling. Like independence when traveling and would enjoy like minded travelers. Am willing to accomodate to visitors but not fuss over.
