An Oasis on the Hill! Loved the space, the garden, private entrance/exit, off street parking, AND a room that felt like "home away from home." Fresh ground coffee? Yes. Top-notch amenities? Oh, yes. Plus, a beautiful garden, a patio overlooking Eugene, the softest bed I've slept on (besides me own!), and the most restful nights sleep I've gotten in a LONG time. Thank you, SO MUCH, Deidre, for making my 1st BnB experience a memorable one! 3
Deirdre was an absolutely incredible host. The apartment was beautiful and everything that we had hoped for and more. It was located on a nice quiet street so close to Amazon Park, and we had the best night stay there. Deirdre goes above and beyond for her guests and we were no exception. We are so excited to plan for another trip back to Eugene and we hope that her apartment will be available for that trip too!
Deirdre's studio is lovely! It's well designed, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need. Deirdre is a kind and generous host and even made us muffins for breakfast in the morning. I only wish we could have stayed longer, and I would definitely stay here again in the future!
Deirdre and Howard's apartment is lovely and made for the perfect stay for us in Eugene. The location was convenient for getting to UO and downtown while being tucked away on a quiet street, giving us a nice reprieve at the end of the day. The breakfast food that Deirdre stocks the apartment with is delicious and thoughtful. The furnishings and small touches such as the local magazines and Oregon atlas are also very thoughtful. Deirdre, Howard, and their son are very sweet. They were helpful and gave us insight into Eugene, but they also gave us plenty of privacy. I highly recommend staying here!
This was the perfect place to rest after an insanely long day of driving by myself. Deirdre was beyond welcoming with my late arrival and left very detailed instructions on finding the house at night! The studio is wonderful, very clean and has anything you could possibly need. She also left a great breakfast in the morning and allowed me sleep in for a bit in the morning. Could not have asked for anything better.
Staying at Deidre's was wonderful. The space was clean, bright and week kept. Everything worked beautifully. The AC was nice as it was warm out. There was yogurt, granola, fruit and coffee as well as muffins. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend her place. I will continue to stay here when traveling to Eugene.
An absolutely delightful stay! We were kindly welcomed by Howard who showed us to the apartment. The top level unit is wonderfully well lit, well decorated and comfortable, and Deirdre provides great amenities and more. The homemade muffins and fruit breakfast were delicious and much appreciated. Sorry to miss meeting Deirdre but would love to do so next time we're in Eugene!
About the Host, Deirdre
I like living in Oregon. Raised our family here. Love the outdoors. Have an organic garden and a home based business. We do lots of cooking and take a casual approach to living and traveling. Like independence when traveling and would enjoy like minded travelers. Am willing to accomodate to visitors but not fuss over.
