  • We just returned from our family vacation having spent time in both Paris and London. Debbie was always very responsive leading up to our trip and provided some suggestions for things to do during our stay. She was very pleasant to work with. However, we probably would not return to this location. Upon arrival, we were concerned about the safety of the neighborhood when walking from the subway station to the apartment. The pictures made this flat look less run down that it was. This flat might be great for a couple students on a budget trip to London but it wasn't a good fit for a family of four that expected a little nicer accommodations.

  • Ganz tolle Wohnung! Absolut ruhige Wohnlage!

  • Despite the weather, our 4-day stay in London was very pleasant thanks to Debbie's cosy and well located apartment. The bedrooms and living room are bright and clean with decent beds. The bathroom and toilet are a bit small for tall people like my family, but all works well. The view from the living room is beautiful and the neighbourhood is lovely. There are plenty of nice cafes, restaurants, street food markets and public transport a couple of minutes away. It was my parents' first experience with Airbnb and they liked it very much. The value for money and location of the flat are excellent!

  • We had a great time at Debbie's. The flat was comfortable, clean and just fine for us (parents and two teenagers). We really liked the neighborhood. A place to recommend.

  • Debbie's flat was absolutely great! We enjoyed our stay here very much. Unfortunately we haven't met Debbie personally, but her friend Diane showed us everything and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and markets. We would definitely come back again.

  • Debbie's flat was a great place to stay. The flat has a great location in walking distance from a lot of shops, cafes etc., and the whole Shoreditch area is a great part of London. Also, the access to public transportation is great, as a number of stations are in walking distance from the apartment. Although the flat has such a good location, it is very quiet at night. I would definitely recommend this flat to everyone looking for a place to stay in London.

  • The flat, like the owner herself, was delightful and accommodating. It was spacious, well-decorated, and located in the wonderful East End of London. Particularly convenient was the two-minute walk to Columbia Road and the market of the same name, which was fun and unique. Further, Debbie was always willing to help and was very responsible and helpful when we had gotten in a bind. Definitely give her flat a shot if you're interested in exploring East London (and the rest of Central London, which is just a short tube ride away).

About
I was born and raised in London and have just returned to live in the centre. I love the diversity of the city and being so close to everything. I am a designer/maker of Soft Furnishings and also a part time student studying Contemporary Applied Arts. I am currently taking some time off of work and hoping to change my career to teaching. I love visiting small independent galleries of which there are many close by. I enjoy travelling and meeting people from different countries and cultures. I like to cycle as much as I can in London. I also like to socialize with friends, I love my food and also the odd glass of wine. I have two grown up children, one is living in Wales and the other is on a two year travelling trip.
