I wouldn't recommend his place. The building is run down. The elevator key was quirky , there was no key for the garbage shoot, The most outrageous bad surprise was coming back after a swim on my second day and finding workers jack hammering the balcony . They said they didn't know anyone would be there. When I asked for a partial refund she offered $25.00 off. It's over priced
For what you get.
I stayed this apartment 4 days, and everything was perfect! Brenda and her friend were so kind and the room was very clean. There weren't any problems. The location was so nice. It's along the most convenient street and near from the beach.
I had a great stay. I got a job in Hawaii and this condo was command central during the whole process of moving from Michigan. The whole process of finding permanent living, car, starting my job and everything in between.
The condo location is walking distance to pretty much everything Waikiki. I think the hardest decision I made per day was what restaurant to choose from. The bus stop is right there on the corner of Lewers and Kuhio. Across the street is a 123 store which is like a convenience store, and at Kuhio is an ABC store where you can buy a 4 day bus pass. Brenda was very prompt with communications and easy to talk to. The condo has a kitchen, air conditioner, internet, cable tv, ceiling fan, iron and ironing board.
I recommend looking at The Bus routes of (phone number hidden) ahead of time to get a basic understanding where they go compared to where you want to go ((website hidden)). Also the iphone app Maps was probably the most valuable tool I used.
If I ever had to do it all again I would still choose this place.
This is in a great location! Just a few steps from everything happening in Waikiki. It's near the canal as well, so if you like going running you are in luck! Brenda herself is very prompt with being in touch and is a very generous and accommodating host. If you like a small functional apartment and plan on just using it to sleep, this could not get any better! Have fun!
The apartment is well located in the tourist area, with many restaurants, cafes and shops catering for tourists.. .
It is on Level 9 of the building. There is a lift directly accessible from the street that requires a key to access. It consists of a living area that includes a kitchen along one side and vestibule leading to the door. There is a separate bathroom, and a balcony.
On the positive side, the apartment was clean and the bed comfortable.
On the negative side, it is quite small - I'd guess about 30 sq metres including balcony. I thought it was adequate for a short holiday, but wouldn't like to live there for long, or have to spend whole days there.
It's was a great place to stay. It was very quiet and relaxing ms Brenda was very nice and kept in touch wit me
great accommodations but will use a different contact next time.
The apartment is very well located walking distance from shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and the beach. The kitchenette was a very convenient, we cooked several meals there. Brenda was very accommodating and friendly. I recommend it.
The apartment is cosy and well situated. You can reach Waikiki Beach and grocery stores in easy walking distance. All in all, I had a great stay.
The room is fine if you just want a bed and shower. It is a bonus there is a mini kitichen. It is small but it is clean and is only 5 minutes walk to the beach and right near many resturants. I was happy with the location. I was met with the key at the apartment which was great. No mucking around.
The $100 cleaning fee I think was a bit steep as they only come in once, when you leave. Be prepared for the noisy fan though!
