The Space

One bedroom with a single bed and a mattress on the floor, if you are two traveling together. In a spacious apartment right in the heart of the hip and multicultural part of Copenhagen - the unique neighborhood: Vesterbro.

On a five minutes walk you will reach cafés, restaurants, bars, live music, galleries and nice shopping. Two minutes away from the kiosk that never close and where you can buy almost anything. Close to Tivoli, cinemas, public swimmingpool (indoor), parks, Carlsberg, The Meat Packing District, the harbour, flee markets and City. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the Central Station where you can take the train directly to the airport.

Limited car parking options (it is expensive to park at the road - but possible).

I have Wi-fi, shower, washing machine and a spacious balcony with a view to the yard, where you can also hang out in the spring and summer.
A kitchen with dishwasher and lot's of space for cooking.
Dining room and living room. And I have two friendly and social cats - Ella and Tom - who loves activity and new people.

The apartment is located in a beautiful old and recently restored house from 1890.

Duvets and towels, coffee, tea, fruit, oatmeal, müsli and milk (and sometimes fresh bread etc.) are included in the price :o)

If you have any questions - just go ahead and ask.

I am looking forward to hosting you.

Welcome.

Cecilia

  • Cecilia made me very welcome and was there to answer questions if needed. She could even smile despite my arrival at 1am because of delayed flights.
The room was adequate and very clean. I was allowed use of the kitchen as I left it clean and tidy after use. Cecilia also made available basic breakfast cereal, tea and coffee.
It is ideally situated within walking distance to central Copenhagen and its attractions.
Public transport is at the door.
I enjoyed the company of her cats who were well behaved and loving.

  • I had a great time staying at Cecilia's. Everything was walking distance!! Cecilia is very nice, hospitable, uncomplicated and always available when needed. The room was beautiful; a lot of space and at times had the company of her cats (which I enjoyed). The neighborhood was very relaxing a lot of areas to eat and drink. Cecilia even provided a guide booklet, where to go around the neighborhood - which was great. It was nice to get some insight about the area from a local! For a student, the price was perfect. She made my stay in Copenhagen an enjoyable one!! Thank you!! Highly recommended.

  • I had a blast in Copenhagen. It was my first time visiting Europe and Cecilia was great, especially with respecting my more introverted personality and the jet lag.

She has great recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and even has a map in the room for your use!

The cats are entertaining, the smaller one is very energetic.

  • The host Cecelia was FANTASTIC! She's very warm and inviting. Gave great recommendations and followed up far in advance to make sure that any questions were well answered. The cats are so sweet and the location is perfect for all restaurants (PONY), beer halls (Mikkeller) and coffee shops (Kaffe and Vinyl)

  • We had a great time staying at Cecilias flat! She is a very nice person, everything was uncomplicated, she was always available when needed. The flat is beautiful, in an old house with old windows and stucco on the ceiling. We were allowed to help ourselves with stuff from the fridge and homemade müsli in the morning, there is also a dishwasher! I loved the cats Tom and Ella, whom we took care of when Cecilia was away for some days (she trusted us without any doubt). We had the apartment for ourselves then. We sat hours on the balcony, smoking, petting the cats :-)
The surrounding of the flat is just perfect to visit Cph, the neighbourhood is young and fresh, many good bars and shops. Just on the corner is a great 60ies fashion store. We walked the whole City from here! To the Center it's just 15min. Also the Central Train Station is just a 10 min walk.
And above all, the price is far below any hotels here.
I would recommend everybody to stay at Cecilias and meet her and this beautiful City!!

  • Cecilia is a vibrant and sharing host. The location is close to the center of Copenhagen via bus and the train to airport a short walk up an interesting and safe street. The room was ample, the bed comfortable and the cats beautiful. No complaints.

  • Cecilia is a lovely host. I felt very comfortable staying in her home, and of course staying with her cats :) She even bought some almond milk for me knowing I didn't drink milk...an example of her hospitality.
The location is absolutely ideal, as Copenhagen is a very walkable city. I would highly recommend her place for anyone looking for a accomodation in Copenhagen :)

  • I can confirm all the positive reviews for Cecilia, her apartment and her cats!! :-)
It was my first trip with airbnb and I stayed at a beautiful appartment in a really great neighborhood! Cecilia is a very nice, easygoing and helpful host! I highly recommend to stay at her place! Her cats made me feel even more like home.
Thanks also for the Copenhagen guide with insider locations :-)

  • It was my first experience with airbnb and what I need to say is that I only hope that all hosts are like Cecila!!! unbelievably flexible, easygoing and helpful (thank you for freshly made orange juice ;) ) I had a very good stay at Cecila's cosy place. Flat is in a very convinient location and getting everywhere walking wasn't a problem for me. Tom&Ella (Cecila's cats) have to be mentioned as well - they are 2 little sweethearts who welcome you like if you were living there forever...Thank you very much

  • Best host we could imagine and a more than appropriate experience for the first trip with airbnb. This, by the way very clean apartment is very close to the Center and it's possible to walk anywhere.

About
I am a free-spirited person. Love cats. Like to talk, good at listening, patient with people, impatient with injustice and queues in the supermarket. A decent cook when it comes to vegetable soups and home made bread. Love most kinds of music. Hobby photographer, good at writing (in danish). I have a small useful garden five kilometers away from my home. You can often find me there with my hands in the soil, the sun in my face and with brain waves like a Chinese gardener. It is pure wellness for the soul. Besides that, I am very much into music. Almost all kinds of music. I play in a small band myself with three other girls. Me behind an primitive drum kit and some percussion while I try to sing at the same time. We play other peoples songs in our own smashing/crashing way. It is great fun - especially for ourselves. I enjoy the great and fantastic Roskilde Festival every year, where I also work as a volunteer. I write a lot, have my own blog (in danish), and I love my camera. I have two cats and I adore them. Tom is a Mau, and Ella is a Russian Blue. I can sit and watch them for hours while they are playing, walking around or sleep (on my face). Welcome. Cecilia
