One bedroom with a single bed and a mattress on the floor, if you are two traveling together. In a spacious apartment right in the heart of the hip and multicultural part of Copenhagen - the unique neighborhood: Vesterbro.
On a five minutes walk you will reach cafés, restaurants, bars, live music, galleries and nice shopping. Two minutes away from the kiosk that never close and where you can buy almost anything. Close to Tivoli, cinemas, public swimmingpool (indoor), parks, Carlsberg, The Meat Packing District, the harbour, flee markets and City. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the Central Station where you can take the train directly to the airport.
Limited car parking options (it is expensive to park at the road - but possible).
I have Wi-fi, shower, washing machine and a spacious balcony with a view to the yard, where you can also hang out in the spring and summer.
A kitchen with dishwasher and lot's of space for cooking.
Dining room and living room. And I have two friendly and social cats - Ella and Tom - who loves activity and new people.
The apartment is located in a beautiful old and recently restored house from 1890.
Duvets and towels, coffee, tea, fruit, oatmeal, müsli and milk (and sometimes fresh bread etc.) are included in the price :o)
If you have any questions - just go ahead and ask.
I am looking forward to hosting you.
NOTE: I do not rent out on long term/permanent basis :-)
Interaction with Guests
I respect your privacy and we usually find a way to interact thats suits both of us.
You are always welcome to ask questions or get my help to find a specific place or explaining how to get there etc. (if I can).
The cats are actually allowed on the balcony. But please make sure, they are not trapped out there with the doors closed when you leave the apartment.
If it is warm outside, the doors can be open all the time, but if you're freezing, please make sure, they are inside before you close the doors. In general it is a good idea to make sure, the cats are not trapped behind any closed doors before you are leaving the apartment.
And PLEASE do not open the lower windows in the apartment. The cats are not used to deal with that, and might fall out. The upper windows are alright to open.
Be careful with fire and candles. Make sure you turn out the gas after cooking.
If you spill water on the kitchen table, please use the cloth hanging on the tap to wipe it off. The table will get marks if you leave the water.
Remember to lock the front door when you are leaving the apartment it does not lock automatically.
It is not politically correct, but smoking is actually allowed :-)
Cecilia is a super nice and relaxed host. Though I came home late almost every night since I was working, but she was super sweet and understanding. She has a great coffee maker in the kitchen, such a luxury to be able to get a great cappuccino first thing in the morning! And her two cats are adorable. Highly recommended!
She is a nice person.
Thank you very much, Cecilia, Copenhagen is a my favorite city.
Cecilia's place was wonderful! It's even more lovely than in the photos. The flat itself was in the perfect location: I didn't take public transport around Copenhagen once as everything was in walking distance. If you get the train in from the airport it is only about a 15/20 minute walk away so a very easy trip to make after just landing. The flat is bright, clean, has great wi-fi, all the facilities you could need, and a lovely balcony.
Cecilia was actually away for most of my stay there, but she still made me feel very welcome and her guide to Copenhagen was very useful. When she came back she was friendly but great at just leaving me to it, which was perfect as I was often exhausted after a day of sightseeing! Her two cats are wonderful, they are very affectionate and were great company on the days I was by myself :)
Great value for money, especially in a quite expensive city like Copenhagen, I couldn't recommend highly enough.
My stay with Cecilia in Copenhagen was my 1st airbnb experience, and I couldn't have been happier with it. Cecilia was welcoming and accommodating, answering all of my questions, offering her umbrella, and sharing her morning cereal. The room was comfortable - bright and tidy - the wifi was good, and the cats were friendly. Great experience overall for me as a solo traveler in a new country.
Cecilia was a perfect host, and she warmly welcomed me. Whenever I asked something and requested for anything, she did the best to help me and give wonderful tips. Thanks for her recommendations and many helps, my first visit to Copenhagen was absolutely great.
Above all things, she always respected my privacy and had many patients for any inconveniences of sharing her place, actually I stayed a week and think her place as my own house!
Her room and house were very cozy, and did perfectly fit for me, and I assure it might be for all of any guests.
The location was also very good, so during a week I did not use any transportation and could go anywhere in downtown by walk(of course it was in my situation, and except for going to out of the town such like the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, and etc.).
So I do recommend Cecilia's place to the visitors in Copenhagen.
To feel the lively atmosphere and enjoy many nice cafes in Vesterbro is can be your bonus!
Cecilia is a very nice and easy-going person. She has been helpful and friendly. The flat is quite big and the room is very cosy! Her cats, Tom and Ella, are so cute! :) The apartment is located in a very central area in Copenhagen and it is possible to reach the Central Station, Tivoli and Nyhavn on foot in a few minutes.

I am a free-spirited person. Love cats. Like to talk, good at listening, patient with people, impatient with injustice and queues in the supermarket. A decent cook when it comes to vegetable soups and home made bread. Love most kinds of music. Hobby photographer, good at writing (in danish).
I have a small useful garden five kilometers away from my home. You can often find me there with my hands in the soil, the sun in my face and with brain waves like a Chinese gardener. It is pure wellness for the soul.
Besides that, I am very much into music. Almost all kinds of music. I play in a small band myself with three other girls. Me behind an primitive drum kit and some percussion while I try to sing at the same time. We play other peoples songs in our own smashing/crashing way. It is great fun - especially for ourselves.
I enjoy the great and fantastic Roskilde Festival every year, where I also work as a volunteer. I write a lot, have my own blog (in danish), and I love my camera.
I have two cats and I adore them. Tom is a Mau, and Ella is a Russian Blue. I can sit and watch them for hours while they are playing, walking around or sleep (on my face).
