  • What a place! We absolutely loved it! Just have a look at the pictures, it really looks that way! It’s just so beautiful, clean, quiet and in the middle of Buenos Aires... The hosts were very nice and communication was always easy. The Jacuzzi is a great extra of course, so is the big patio with trees and very friendly little group of a cat, a dog and three chicken.

  • It is a very beautiful house. So big, so comfortable and so quiet... The room was very clean and the bathroom amazing with the big jacuzzi! I liked the courtyard with the chickens, the dog and the cat ^^ Well located in the center of Buenos Aires. I really enjoyed my stay and I hope to come back soon! Lydia and Will have been very nice and were always there to answer to my questions.

  • Great room with an amazing bathroom in a very quiet area of Buenos Aires. Will and Lydia were very nice and received us warmly. It's really a great experience to stay in a house like this, I'd recommend to anyone going to the city :)

  • Will was there to meet us at the time we agreed upon and was kind enough to walk through the art of locking and unlocking all of the doors. He also gave us a tour of the magnificent property. After many long days trekking in Patagonia, this place was just what we needed! Great bathroom, tons of space to reorganize, great location, just overall amazing!

  • My husband and I loved staying here during our December honeymoon. The room is beautiful and very spacious, and Will and Lydia were extremely gracious and patient with our many questions. The house is amazing!

A word to the temperature sensitive that BA can get very hot and we had a few nights with no fans due to a power outage on the block, but we considered it a character-building experience! During the blackout, Will brought us candles and invited us to share limoncello in the courtyard with friends, and in the end it was one of our favorite nights in BA.

  • What an amazing place to stay! The suite is in an old Colonial mansion which Jane and her husband are renovating over time. We never met Jane but the house sitters (Will and Lydia) were lovely and gave us great recommendations of places to eat and dance. The room was very clean and the bathroom was incredible. There's also lots of conveniences such as bakeries, fruit, wine, corner shops, cafe, money change, etc within a block or two. San Telmo is also a really interesting area where real Argentinians live, during the day it was completely safe but at night would recommend sticking to the main streets.

Overall though - incredible experience and I would definitely stay again!

  • Cee Jay, Tom and their family were superb hosts. Their magnificent urban mansion, a work in progress that is progressing quickly, is a must see/stay for anyone interested in architecture and opulence. Their palace is conveniently located to transportation, restaurants and very close to the elegant, eclectic San Telmo district, where some of the best bargains and eateries are to be found in Buenos Aires. Fresh flowers awaited us in our room and at the breakfast table. Breakfast, on the sun porch adjacent to the grand salon (pictured above), included varieties of yoghurt, pastries, fresh fruit, coffee/tea, juice and more. The private guest bathroom boasts a double-wide whirlpool bathtub for those post-meat-frenzies. The guest suite has a comfortable large bed in the main room, a separate sitting room with cable television and a grand bathroom.

Our hosts were helpful, a trove of information and helpful advice and friendly. The pictures Cee Jay and Tom have posted on the Airbnb web site do not come close to capturing the beauty of this place. Highly recommended.

  • It was a wondeful experience staying with Jane & Tom; they are attentive and helpful hosts: starting with allowing us to arrive early in the morning and continuing with providing lots of information about what to see and do (and places to avoid), arranging taxis and providing maps, books about the area etc. The guest accommodation is beyond expectation and is separated from the hosts living area, which makes it extremely private and quiet. There is a large bedroom, tv room and luxurious bathroom; plus tea and coffee making facilities. The whole house is magnificent and palatial and located in an authentic and not so touristy part of the city. The metro is 2 blocks away and there are plenty of buses if you want to take them. Plus all main areas are walkable. We'd thoroughly recommend this accommodation and will book again if we ever come back to Buenos Aires. Thanks Jane & Tom.
