We only had a short visit to Dublin and Philomena's lovely home but it was delightful. Philomena was a warm hostess and made us feel welcome in her home. This was the first time we rented a room in a private home and we felt at home immediately! Additionally, Philomena gave us tons of information on local transportation and things to do. She offered us a lift to town and also got up early the next day to prepare our breakfast and call for a cab so we could catch an early flight to the U.S.
The place was easy to find and Phyliss was there on time and welcoming. It is a lovely home and on first sight was neat and relatively clean...I had a very long flight and immediately took a nap on top of the bed. Much later when I woke up and went to get into bed, I drew back the duvet to find the sheets had not been changed and there was sock lint, hair and a used tissue under the covers. Everyone was alseep by then so I didn't make a fuss.
Aside from that it was a pleasant place.
I stayed with Philomena and Mike for one night before catching an early flight from Dublin Airport the following day, From the moment I arrived they were Fantastic, most welcoming, easy to find, a short bus ride from the Airport, conveniently located for all who want to explore Dublin and the surrounding areas, the area is a very safe location, my bedroom was most comfortable, had a nice breakfast and then Mike drove to the Airport which was most unexpected but very much appreciated. I will definately be staying here again and no problems in recommending Philomena Boyle as Host. Regards
I loved staying with Philomena and her husband. They welcomed me into their home and gave me the space that I wanted to relax. I highly recommend staying with them.
Highly recommend Phyliss as a host. Absolutely wonderful experience. She and her husband Mick are friendly and welcoming. The house is beautiful and very well located for getting the bus to the city centre as well as the airport and little villages all around. The room super cosy and the bed very comfy. Definitely great value for the price. Phyliss was also extremely patient in answering my million questions. She kindly walked with me to the bus stop, and her husband looked up the timetable for me. As it was my first time in Ireland, I will be going back to explore more and would gladly rent the same room again.
The room was very clean. Phyllis and her husband were wonderful hosts. Both very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend staying with them.
The rooms are very clean and cozy. It's located in a calm village next to a large avenue (with a lot of stores and bus station) and next to the airport (less than 10 min by car). Phylis and Mike are a lovely couple, always eager to help us somehow. Defintely, I recommend their home!
