The space
Visiting Boise? Our property is perfect for a vacation, visiting family or a work trip to Boise. We are located less than 1 block walk from the Boise Greenbelt famous for biking or walking along the Boise River to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, parks and more. Sit out on the patios of the wineries or restaurants along the path or check out more excitement watching them surf the waves at the Boise Whitewater Park. SUP or kayak on the lazy river in Esther Simplot Park just across the bridge. The property is only a short 10 min bike ride to BSU! Or, just spend your day hanging on our patio deck. In the evenings watch the sunset and gather around the cozy gas fireplace and count the stars in the beautiful Boise sky!
Entryway: Once inside the front doors, you will be in our entryway room that connects to the garage. Our guest bikes and kayaks are located in the garage. We feature local magazines & local marketing to help plan your day around the city.
The kitchen/living/dining: Relax in this open concept area that transitions to the outdoor living area. A dining table seats 8. Fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils, basic cooking supplies and condiments, local coffee/tea and a coffee pot plus a microwave, hot kettle, blender, toaster & more. Dishes , including plates, bowls, mugs, wine glasses. Plus, children's dinnerware provided for the little ones in your group. The fridge comes furnished with sparkling water, creamer for coffee and basic spices are provided. Living space, open and bright with a spacious feel, this room features a comfortable couch and plush chairs for you to curl up in after a long day of exploring Boise. Board games & portable music speaker. Hardwood flooring is softened with a modern-style rug and handy coffee table. A floor lamp provides overhead lighting options along with traditional ceiling light and ceiling fan. A 55-inch flat screen television to enjoy shows with your Netflix or Hulu subscription offers your evening entertainment. Bring your favorite book and curl up with one of the provided throws and enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, while enjoying the fire.
Heating/air conditioning is provided by a full HVAC. For all your electronic surfing needs, we offer 1 GB per sec. up/down fiber optic internet speed.
The bathrooms: Features standard sinks with mirror, plus cupboard space to store your essentials from home. Hair dryer included. Extra fluffy towels. 100% clean body wash/shampoo/conditioner.
Master bedroom: Quiet and inviting, the nicely sized master features a closet with hangers enough for all your outfits, and a luxury twin tri-fold floor mattress plus pack n play for your kids/grandkids. Two end tables, stylishly appointed reading lamps + Nectar memory foam mattress king size bed. Piled high with pillows, it is perfect for diving into after your walk along the Greenbelt or mountain hike. An ironing board and iron are located in the walk in closet if you need to look nice for an event or get ready for work. Your bedroom includes a full-length mirror, sitting chair + dedicated works space with desk. Blinds and light blocking curtains block any light for the perfect night's sleep.
2nd bedroom: Features a memory foam queen mattress, multiple shelves, a closet with hangers and laundry basket. Wood blinds and windows sheers for the perfect night's sleep. This room also features a cozy sectional, 65- inch smart TV, DVD player and over DVD's. Curl up with the comfy throw and lean back into the stack of pillows, your little ones or friends traveling with you will wake up feeling rested and refreshed for their day of exploring the nearby Waterpark or area's attractions. Pack n Play in closet.
Garage: Two bikes with helmets and a bike lock + 2 Kayaks are stored for guests to explore the many outdoor activities located on the Greenbelt, along the Boise River. Snow shovel when needed & patio blower is also located in garage.
Hallway: A private laundry room washer/dryer is provided for laundry needs plus basic cleaning supplies including broom, dustpan, vacuum. Organic or clean cleaning products and clean detergent provided.
Guest access
You have access to the entire 2 bed/2.5bath 2 story home, plus the patio deck and garage. Plenty of street parking aviable.
Other things to note
Due to the coronavirus we are taking disinfection seriously, our cleaners are doing a top to bottom job and really focusing on disinfection of high touch areas, such as light switches, door handles, remotes, countertops, etc.
We are a quiet neighborhood. Please keep outside noise to a minimum after 10pm.
