Juniper Hill A-frame is a newly renovated 1968 Adirondack A-frame that is loaded with character and charm. This tiny 700 square foot space is cozy and located with direct views of Whiteface Mountain. Two bedrooms/one bathroom situated on a large parcel of land complete with Christmas tree farm, fire pit, and large front deck. You won’t want to leave, but if you do, the A-frame is within walking, biking or driving distance to just about everything.

The space
Juniper Hill A-Frame is a newly restored 1968 chalet style home in the heart of Wilmington, New York. The design aesthetic is mid-century modern meets tribal with vibrant colors and inviting furnishings. Perfect for relaxing after that long day on the slopes, hiking the high peaks, biking the trails/roadways, or whatever other adventures you love.

Direct views of Whiteface Mountain (including the summit castle) await while seated on the front deck that is adorned with custom pine tree cut-outs and relaxing furniture for outdoor living. Walk or bike to the Ausable River or Wilmington Town Beach. The location is convenient and ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and lovers of the Adirondacks.

This property includes a master bedroom with queen bed, loft bedroom with twin beds, large mudroom for storage, vaulted living room with wood stove, and a well-appointed kitchen with maple cabinetry and loads of storage space. Hotel-quality linens, Pendleton blankets, and modern cookware are provided for your convenience. Please see a full list of amenities below.

An outdoor charcoal grill and cook space is situated next to a large fire pit area with custom modern Adirondack chairs, firewood and loads of privacy. Take a walk through the mini Christmas tree farm or simply have a seat on the antique ski lift seating.

Neighborhood highlights

The Juniper Hill neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Juniper Hill Lane itself is a gravel road with a gradual slope upward. Four-wheel drive or all wheel drive is recommended, particularly during the winter months.

There is a general store, gas station, pizza shop and much more within two miles. The cabin is located within walking distance to the KOA Lake Placid campground and is only a five minute drive to Whiteface ski resort.

The Wilmington Town Park and Lake Everest are a short drive or quick bike ride away. Guests can also enjoy driving up the Whiteface Memorial Highway when open for access. Mountain bike trails and access (Hardy Road, Poor Man's Downhill, etc.) are all minutes away.
