The Space:
Indian Valley Retreat is a large 3-bedroom ranch style main house overlooking the picturesque Indian Creek, a tributary of the Elwha River. We have meandering private trails through the woods to the creek behind the home, a huge front yard for throwing a ball around, a community play set for the younger kiddos, and even an outdoor fire pit with seating for enjoying s'mores and stories. The front patio has lounge seating perfect for curling up with a book and the newly built back deck has a large conversational seating area with fire table. Cook out on the gas grill and enjoy your meal complimented by the playful sounds of the creek below.
Inside, you will find all the comforts of home in our beautifully designed open concept living/dining and kitchen space. The fully equipped kitchen is wonderfully designed for preparing meals. The kitchen boasts granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, including a gas stove and wall oven. A stunning waterfall island creates a lively gathering spot for enjoying conversation while meals are prepared.
There is an elegant dining area that seats 8, has a coffee and tea bar and opens up into the spacious living room featuring a comfy leather couch with two overstuffed chairs, and entertainment center for watching movies. A smaller, more intimate space off of the kitchen has a cozy gas fireplace and couch with 2 swivel club chairs, the perfect space for curling up with a book. This couch also turns into a queen size sleeper sofa for additional bed space.
The primary suite is beautifully designed with a queen bed, Smart TV, and access to the deck through a sliding glass door. The private luxury bath boasts some fantastic amenities that include a glass enclosed walk in shower, a large soaking tub and heated floors. A beautiful make-up station for getting ready and vanity mirrors that are not only heated, but have LED lighting and are Bluetooth capable. Enjoy listening to your favorite tunes while taking a long soak in the designer tub.
The second and third bedrooms also have comfy queen beds and Smart TV's and newly installed wood floors.
The second bath in the hall offers a tub/shower combo. All towels, soap and shampoo are provided, as well as a hairdryer.
A full laundry room with washer/dryer and additional 1/2 bath is just off the smaller living area. Sliding glass doors lead from the living space out to the newly built deck with a propane grill as well as an outdoor dining table and seating. Enjoy listening to the babbling creek and chatty birds in this peaceful outdoor setting.

This property has 3 vacation rental units on it. The Indian Valley Retreat is the main house. The second unit is an attached apartment to the main home called the "Elwha Place" (securely locked door between the two units). The two units share the back deck, which has a privacy partition dividing each unit's section of the deck. There is a possibility for noise from the apartment while in the laundry area, but this is a pretty rare experience. The third vacation rental on the property is a small cottage to the side of the main house called the "Indian Creek Cottage". The property has a shared circular driveway with designated parking for each rental unit. The Indian Valley Retreat has 2 designated spots in front of the home, adjacent to the front yard/playset.
If you are interested in renting all three vacation rentals for larger groups/gatherings, please inquire with owner.
Other things to note
The garage and designated locked closets in the home are for the owner's use only. Please respect these private areas. All outdoor property areas (except the designated back deck and front porch of home) are shared with other guests who may be staying in the attached apartment and separate cottage. Please be respectful and courteous to other guests when enjoying the shared outdoor areas. The back deck of the home has a partitioned privacy divider that separates the large deck from the smaller deck used by the attached apartment.
Please do not burn in outside firepits if there is a County wide burn ban. Check with owner if a ban is in effect during the dates of your visit. Wood bundles can be purchased at the Lower Elwha Food and Fuel. There is a propane fire pit also available for use during burn bans.
