Response from Richard:

Leslee thank you for your feedback. Tulum beach is not cheap and had you been bothered to read our detailed property description or respond to the detailed email we sent before your arrival you would have hopefully understood more about our property and what to expect. We do not advertise beachfront luxury rooms. We cater to people seeking Tulum's biggest luxury- nature and the beach.
Also would have been helpful to both of us to allow the reservation alteration request be confirmed so you could have at least reviewed the correct room. Most of our guests enjoy out little slice of paradise and we are saddened you did not.

  • Akiin Beach Tulum

Open most days for breakfast and lunch. Akiin is our affiliated beach club and one of the least expensive places on the beach to grab lunch. The beach bar is great. Try their margaritas. Cheers!

  • Ahau Tulum

Good for people watching and consistent Wi-Fi.
Carr. Tulum a Boca Paila Tulum Quintana Roo 77760
  • Casa Banana Steak House

Great grilled meat and an amazing beet salad. Surprisingly good wine list. A little pricey, but hey! youre on vacation.

  • BABEL Cafe

    Best coffee in town.
Carretera Federal 307 Tulum Quintana Roo 77780
  • Gran Cenote

An aptly named cenote, it’s a great place to swim around in the company of terrapin turtles, swooping swallows, and even the occasional motmot with its grandfather clock tail.

  • Xel-Há Park

Xel Ha is gorgeous. Its been developed in a way that feels like a theme park (all inclusive food and drinks, gift shops, dolphins, etc). But its natural beauty is undeniable. Kid friendly. Worth it.

  • Yal-ku Laguna

Great place to snorkel and spend the day. You often see some cool tropical fish at this inexpensive inlet. Get there early to rent a palapa for the day.
