The home is is a charming, clean and bright 1920s bungalow with lovely details including built-ins and a working brick fireplace. With a southwest exposure, it is delightfully bright and sunny in the afternoon.

Amenities include 3 well-designed bedrooms, two and a half spacious bathrooms, a large living and dining room and an eat-in breakfast nook. The hardwood floors have been recently refinished and the bay windows in the living room give both plenty of natural light and privacy. Each room has been designed with a different style. Modern, French and European touches decorate this peaceful apartment. We have also included lots of touches for children including a play area, highchairs, and a safety gate. The goal was to provide elegantly furnished comfort and luxury at an affordable price.

  • We had a really nice stay at the Perfect Family Home - that's really what it was! Sara made sure everything was there that we needed, including high chairs and play pens for the babies! It's a short 10 minute walk to the BART and there are some good restaurants in the area. Whole Foods is right across the street, which was a huge bonus for us! Thanks for everything.

  • We had the pleasure if meeting Sara during our stay. She had a minor issue and came to us to explain her problem. Together, we came up with a solution that worked for everyone. Sara was as pleasant in person as she had been with her emails

  • Very nice house,When I arrived Sara's house, I have got the airbnb message and I answered this message. But my mobile phone signal missed that chinese mobile phone connect AT&T has something wrong, So I am very sorry to not call my lovely host on time. I met the room cleanning service lady at the back of the house, she told me that we just rent the front of the house two nights. These days became my important memories in S.F for my life, thanks a lot!

  • My family and I stayed March 20th thru 26th, 2014. We LOVED the house! It was everything it was billed to be. Furniture is a little different than the pictures but truthfully it was an upgrade. The neighborhood is a 5 min walk to the BART station and a 15 min drive to the airport. There is a Whole Foods approximately half a block from the house and a nice sized mall within a 5 min drive. Another wonderful thing about this house is that the third bedroom is downstairs. It has it's own kitchen, TV and 1/2 bath. I would recommend this home to my friends and family.

Sara was very nice and helpful. She gave us many suggestions for dinning and entertainment. We went to 4 of the places she recommended and all were fantastic!

  • We had a great trip! This was our first Airbnb experience. The place comfortably fit 4 adults. The house was within walking distance of Whole Foods and a few good restaurants. Checking in and out was very convenient. The place was nice, clean, and appealing. Looking forward to using it again in the future.

I love people... truly I adore meeting people, hearing about their lives, and making a difference for others. Being able to provide clean, lovely and stylish homes to guests is deeply fulfilling to me. It is an honor to have the opportunity to be hospitable. Even if most of my communication is with the individual reserving the home, I know that I am taking care of them so that they may take care of the other members in their group - whether that is three generations of a family or a group of friends or a team of coworkers. I live in San Francisco and offer a whole home to guests that I also own. In addition, I help some dear friends and family by providing guest services for homes that they own. I have always been passionate about providing wonderful customer service - even when I was a babysitter or worked in retail as a teenager. The home owners I help appreciate my passion and want people who stay in their homes to feel cared for and loved by me. All of my activities - such as responding swiftly to questions, fulfilling special requests, and providing neighborhood information to guests - are intended create a positive experience. For clarification, taking care of guests is at times a team effort. So you may read reviews that mention other people's names who are (or have been) part of my excellent team. Being able to provide a whole home - not just beds, but a kitchen and communal living space - especially inspires me. Recently, parents with their 5 young children stayed at one of my homes. I came by to drop off some extra items and got to watch the father play with the baby and see the other kids in their footie pjs piled up on the couch enjoying a cartoon before bed. I believe they made most of their meals in the kitchen, which was a significant savings for a family of their size. When they checked out, the parents told me how it simply would not have been possible for them to take a vacation like this at a hotel. It moved me to know that I gave these parents and children something so precious. My mother probably would have had a bed & breakfast, but instead ran a small business to support my dad's dreams. Even still, she had a comfortable lounge, complete kitchen, full time cook, and little touches like scented candles so that clients felt at home. She hosts a Thanksgiving dinner for 40+ so that friends, family, friends of family, family of friends, etc can experience belonging and being part of something special. I inherited her love for hospitality, combined with my father's outgoing nature. I've had the good fortune to travel internationally a bit. I'm learning and eventually will be able to speak French, Spanish, Italian and perhaps some other languages. I want to be able to communicate with people globally in their own language, whether they are visiting me or I'm visiting them. I also deeply enjoy exploring the city in which I live. Even after living in LA for 30+ years, I was always learning something new and discovering special qualities. There is so much happening in San Francisco, one can be a "tourist" in this city and never get bored. There isn't enough time in the day to attend all the events and try all the restaurants, etc. I appreciate when my guests tell me about their SF adventures.
