Easy and seamless coming and going. Nice, quiet building and a warm apartment. WiFi was great as well as the cable. This is an excellent Brooklyn Heights location, just a few blocks from the 2/3 and the A/C.
We had a great experience. I already knew how awesome the neighborhood was from living there but I highly recommend it to anyone visiting. We were coming back to visit and Drew left the keys with a friend of ours who owns a shop down the block so it was very easy for us to get into town and grab the keys. The place was wonderful and Drew was great to work with. He was very responsive and helpful and worked with us to make our stay convenient and fun. The place was clean and wonderful. I liked the loft bed and the set up of the apartment. What else can I say?
It was our first visit to NYC. Pictures of Drew's appartment are accurate and the place is really cozy (a fireplace!). It is perfect for a couple, enough even for 3 people, just to sleep after full day sightseeing.
The location is great - quiet, safe, near to the promenade, about 5min walk from a subway station. There are also 24h stores nearby.
Drew was very helpful and responded to our messages in a few minutes. He waited for our arrival even when it was delayed. Thanks Drew!
We would definitely recommend staying there and would like to do it again ourselves!
The listing description and pictures are very accurate, which is uncommon in my experience. The location couldn't have been better. Brooklyn Heights is the perfect location to stay in NYC...quiet, clean, and very safe. My wife and I had no problem walking through the neighborhood at 2am. The apt is just down the street from the Clark St. station, which is the first stop from Manhattan on several lines. If you are not familiar with NYC, that means you are a 5 minute walk and 15 minute ride from the Empire State building.
As far as the apt itself, like I said the pictures are very accurate. It is small, but we were looking for a place to rest each night after running around the city. If you want a place to "live" for more than 2 people, you might want to find something bigger.
The best part of our stay was interacting with Drew. The hot water wasn't working when we first arrived. I messaged him through the Airbnb app, and within 30 seconds I received a call and we discussed the issue. Drew then called the landlord, and called me right back to let me know they were fixing the water heater. The hot water returned that night. Drew was so nice, and the fact that he responded so quickly made us feel much more comfortable and made the whole experience more enjoyable. I would very much recommend this spot to anybody.
Thank you, Drew, for a charming and welcoming stay. We loved the location on a quiet, tree-lined street but steps to great restaurants and transit. The studio itself was a joy to return to after a big day roaming the city--nicely appointed, with a big, sunny window, old brick and that adorable pink bathroom. A quiet and comfortable home base for a weekend of exploring.
This was my first time to New York and using airbnb and it was great. We found Drew's place to be just as described and pictured in his add. He was also very accommodating. Our flight arrived very late our first night but a friendly woman was there to let us in. The location was perfect for our trip. I never felt nervous walking the neighborhood, even the nights we got home late. It was very hot in NY the week we were there so the apartment was pretty warm, especially the loft where the bed is but there is a ceiling fan to at least keep the air moving. Clean and comfortable place. We would definitely stay here again.
Drew's place was perfect for our short time in NYC. It was spacious and clean, and located near all of our favorite spots in Brooklyn. It was also great that he was able to accommodate us on a Thursday night .
