Exactly as it's listed! Grasia is a wonderful hostess, who kept in contact before and during my stay! Would definitely recommend!
It was a great location for access to the city and we loved Astoria. The apartment was perfect for the three of us, for a quick breakfast in the mornings before going out for the day. The neighborhood and building were quiet and comfortable sleeping. Easy to get to a grocery store a few blocks away. We would stay there again.
This was my first time using Airbnb and everything went very smoothly. Grasia was at the apartment when we arrived and took time to show us everything (door lock, TV, etc.). She also kindly emailed us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. The apartment is spacious by New York standards, and on a relatively quiet street. It is very close to the subway, which was great. We (two women) felt safe walking home at night. There is a well-stocked grocery store and some restaurants a couple blocks away. The apartment building and apartment itself is older than the photos suggest, but everything is in working order. I can see that the window air conditioners would be important in the summer as the apartment doesn't get a lot of cross-ventilation. All in all, everything worked out really well. Thank you Grasia.
Grasia was a very gracious and concerned hostess. She contacted us several times to make sure that we got in OK and everything was the way we needed it.
The apartment was very spacious and well-situated for public transit, being about halfway between two different train stops. It was very convenient for traveling into Manhattan and around Queens. Grocery shopping is very close as well. We'll be sure to check out her place in the future, since our daughter lives in the area.
Grasia was incredibly accommodating and the apartment was wonderful - clean and spacious, and convenient to transit. It was perfect for us to have some out-of-town family stay for the weekend of our wedding. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future!!
I and my wife stayed 47 nights at Grecia's place to visit my son's family which is just 2 blocks away.
For those who do not know Astoria, it is a residential community of many ethnic groups. While it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, going downtown is unbelievable convenient and fast. The subway is just a 5 minutes' walk and the train journey is half an hour only.
Grecia's apartment is clean and airy, tastefully decorated yet still brings you the modern convenience of wifi and a nice TV. There are so many interesting books to read too.
Grecia has been a very generous and responsible host. She attends to my questions during my stay quickly and responsibly, even though she was herself on vacation in South America during the whole time, often with difficulties getting wireless communication herself. When I fixed a broken handle of the toilet flush, she gracefully offered me a generous credit I did not expect.
I am hopeful that when I next visit my son again Grecia's apartment is available for lease!
This was the first time we have booked accommodation through Airnb and were really delighted with what we found.
Grecia was a marvellousand generous host and we would highly recomend staying at her apartment which was spacious, comfortable and 5minutes walk to a subway. The location is great with lots of shops and plenty of places to eat. A good friendly neighbourhood.
We loved the whole experience and wished we could have stayed longer.
If you are looking for a New York apartment we would happily advise this one.
Grecia was great! The apartment was very clean, cozy, beautifully decorated and very very close to everything!
Grecia was always a call or text away and the super Dante was very helpful when we had an issue with the key.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to others and would stay there again.
Gracia was very considerate and concerned with our well being, i.e if everything was to our satisfaction.
which it was - nice flat, everything as stated, would go there anytime again.
thank you Gracia
