Guests describe the home as magical and say the photos don't do it justice
Immerse yourself into the PRIVATE & serene setting at the "Tree House" which rests on the beautiful & historic Hill 'n' Dale Farms at Xalapa. Relaxing in the “lodge/cabin-like" 5,000 sq ft home is an experience like no other. It rests in the heart of horse country overlooking the peaceful Stoner Creek. Enjoy coffee or cocktails on the screened in porch or 1 of 4 decks. Located 35-40 minutes from Lexington, Keeneland, Kentucky Horse Park & a short drive to many distilleries & wineries.

The space
Experience the natural materials throughout the home including hand hewn beams, flooring from lumber harvested from Maker's Mark original rickhouse, the exterior facing of tree bark, stone and more. Keep on the lookout for deer and turkey. Bring a canoe and go fishing & hiking along Stoner Creek.
In addition to beds, there are 2 sofas in main living area and a sofa bed in upstairs on landing.

Guest access
Guests will be greeted by a host and shown how to access the farm and the house. Parking is a private area in front of the house. Please note this is a working horse farm so please do not interact with horses unless you are with a host for your safety and the horse's safety.

Other things to note
Experience Hill 'n' Dale at Xalapa w/a tour guide upon request & availability.

$50/person.  This tour is 2-2.5 hours. This tour includes touring the stallion barn, meeting our 12 stallions, including Curlin, Ghostzapper & Good Magic and touring our brand new breeding facility. Then, you will see historical locations, including the famous bridge & several other locations where the movie, Seabiscuit, was filmed. You will see the 1 mile race track, mares & foals, blacksmith shop, water tower, pump house and much more. Also, you will hear some of the history of the farm.

Also, we will allow small events/gatherings at the Treehouse such as weddings, family reunions, etc. We charge an additional fee due to the caliber of thoroughbred horses on the farm. The fee ranges based on number of guests. Please inquire.
