Have a boat? Bring it with you! We are located only 11 miles (15 mins. drive) from Cherokee Dam. Here you can fish, picnic, swim, and boat. We are 17 miles (20 mins. drive) from Douglas Lake where you can fish, water ski, jet ski or wakeboard. You can also swim in the reservoir’s open waters or coves. Their many islands offer great spots to picnic and swim as well. If you are an avid birdwatcher, you will want to visit Douglas Lake from July to early October as it is home to a migration of birds and other waterfowl.
