  • We enjoyed the neighborhood, and walking to some restaurants and pubs nearby. We loved Portland in general, everybody was so friendly, down to earth and relaxed. The room we stayed in had a double bed with adjustable sleep comfort controls on both sides. The house is super clean, and we were able to use the kitchen and to do our laundry downstairs while we were there. There is a cat which loves to be petted but doesn't come in the bedroom. Leigh was full of information and very helpful. We really enjoyed our two nights here.

  • The room was very nice, the bed comfortable. Extra supplies were provided in the bathroom for guests to use. It was an easy commute to the convention center where I needed to go to a conference.

  • My stay at Leigh's place was great! She has a lovely house, in a really nice residential neighborhood. Its very well located, since its close to several small breweries and nice pubs. She helped me out giving tips of which places I should visit in Portland, restaurants, breweries, etc., and had lots of tourist guides and maps, which was a great help!

  • Leigh was an amazing host. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable; as was the entire house. Her neighborhood is full of charming character homes, beautiful flower gardens and close to a variety of amenities that I enjoyed (brew pubs, fitness/yoga studio, bakery, coffee shops, etc...) ; all within easy walking distance. My car was parked and not used for the 3 days I was there!
Thanks Leigh and I will see you again!

  • Leigh's home is located in a quiet neighborhood in northeast Portland. She's a gracious host and everything was as promised -- clean, comfortable and relaxing. I'm not sure if I've ever slept better, or longer, while away from home -- very comfy! Thanks, Leigh.

  • This is my second time staying at Leigh's lovely home and I hope to stay there next time I travel to Portland. It feels so welcoming when I walk in, it's like I am staying at a friend's place. The queen room is very comfortable and the place is spotless. It is a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, close to shops, public transport and good food. Highly recommended, such a great deal! Rose

  • Leigh was just as great as each review has displayed prior my stay! I felt very welcome at Leigh's cozy home. She was kind enough to let me use her kitchen for my cooking and that was so much appreciated. Her dog Toby and cat Idgie were so adorable and sweet.
I thoroughly recommend Leigh if you are needing a place to stay in Portland. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. Great guest bathroom as well.
Thank you Leigh, have a great time in England with your daughter and grandchildren!

About
I am a single woman, who teaches piano for a living. I am fun loving, easy going and open minded. I love interacting with my guests and helping them when they want it. However, I will not intrude. When not teaching piano, I sing in choirs, do gardening and explore Portland. There are many neat neighborhoods and places to eat and drink here. Occasionally I travel to visit family in Illinois, California and England. If you come and stay here, I will be able to point you in the right direction of many different places to have fun in Portland. I have lived here for 7 years and still find it fascinating. Before living here I lived in southern California for 13 years and before that in Wisconsin for 15 years. I am one of six kids and have 2 grown children of my own.
