About This Listing
Charming, tastefully decorated flat to rent in close proximity to Budapest's centre. Fully-furnished with modern furniture, this third-floor flat of a stylish, turn of the century* three-storey town house (equipped with a lift) is situated in a calm and quiet area. Thanks to its central location you can reach many of Budapest's sights on foot, e.g. Saint Stephen's Basilica, the Parliament building, the Danube Promenade or the Chain Bridge. Take a stroll in the Jewish Quarter with Europe's largest synagogue or on the shopping malls of Andrássy Avenue and Váci street, or visit the famous "ruin pubs" of the seventh district, all just a stone throw's from the house. The flat is conveniently situated with easy access to all underground lines (approx. 5 minutes by foot), which ensures that you can reach all corners of the city (e.g. the Széchenyi Baths are only a 10-minute ride away with Line 1, the world's second oldest metro line). Morning meals are equally simple to procure, there is a bakery next to the entrance of the house, and round the corner you can find a café serving breakfast. Nomerous cafés, restaurants and bars in the neighborhood!
Other Things to Note
Please note, that an extra fee of 10 EUR is required for very late check-in, that means after 10:00 p.m.
Please respect our neighbours - normal working people who need to get up early and go to work every day so please respect the noise levels in the stairwells as well as in the apartments, especially after 10:00 p.m..
The apartment may not be used as a party space but that of an accommodation for sleeping, eating, relaxing, etc.
It is a no smoking apartment, however you can smoke on the corridor, just before the door. Sorry, but pets are not allowed.
Lovely apartment with very accurate pictures. Perfectly located near to the river and St Stephen's Basilica. Very clean and welcomed warmly by Maria who looks after apartment. Saved money on not paying for public transport as was walking distance to most things we wanted to see. Would recommend apartment to anyone!
Everything was just perfect! Simple as that.
Quick correspondace, welcome effective and very friendly ...including homebaked Hungarian specialities, yummy!
THANK YOU :-)
The place was just as described, in a cool old building. It was mostly clean, tidy and comfortable.
Our stay in Budapest was wonderful. The apartment and the location was perfect! Monika left us a special homemade treat and gave us info on restaurants and places to visit. In addition, we were allowed to add 1 person to the apartment for a very reasonable 10 Euro/night.
The kitchen and apartment were well stocked. The only suggestion would be to rig up a shower curtain or put a plastic panel around the tub so guests can use the shower and not get water every where.
We would highly recommend this apartment and location to future guests!
