Enjoy nature and a quiet getaway in this home in the trees. Our resort is the first of its kind in Michigan. We’re constructing 10 unique and self-contained treehouses, each approximately 500 square feet, centrally located in Thompsonville, Michigan. No need was overlooked to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Truly a home away from home.
The space
Each treehouse is located within a beautiful wooded site, sculpted around majestic hills and each with its own breathtaking view of Northern Michigan’s natural beauty. The Hoffmann Haus has parking available right outside the tree house on cement with an outdoor fire pit and ADA accessible bridge to enter the space. A fully furnished kitchen is available in this studio style space with two queen size beds and enough room for a small air mattress if needed. The views are beautiful from both the front and back patio while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Guest access
Tree house ridge is centrally located in the heart of several northern Michigan destinations including Traverse City, Frankfort, Cadillac, and interlochen. Enjoy the drive and the scenery that northern Michigan has to offer. Four wheel drive is not necessary to get to the tree house but may be beneficial in the winter time around this area.
With Crystal Mountain Ski resort just miles away, we are a great location for guests all year long.
Other things to note
We hope you enjoy your stay and appreciate any feedback you have to offer. We will have more tree houses to offer over the next few years and hope you come stay with us!
