Listen to the river from the front porch of this charming, recently restored cottage, conveniently located just off Main St. Walk to everything. Coffee shops, breweries, parks, hot springs, fine dining, pizza, sushi and tacos all within a .2 mile radius. Domesticated animals accepted under 35 lbs for a fee. For those looking to work remotely, we have the fastest internet in town!

The space
Old meets new at Casa hermosa. Remodeled in 2015, this house has all the modern amenities while also maintaining it's rustic charm.

The new addition of the expansive south facing front porch provides a great place to bask in the sun and take in the views of Reservoir Hill, while listening to the San Juan River just across the street.

The kitchen has been completely refinished with an open concept. Brand new appliances include a large french door fridge, dishwasher, gas range and washer/dryer.

The main bathroom is brand new with a double vanity, huge walk in rain shower and vaulted ceilings. A new half bath also sits off the second bedroom.

The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed an en suite 1/2 bath. The second bedroom has vaulted ceiling and a queen size bed.

The cozy living area has great views of Reservoir Hill, as well as a brand new 50" Smart TV loaded with Netflix, HULU Live, Disney+, HBOmax ect. We recently connected to Visionary fiber for internet, boasting speeds up to 1000 Mbps; far more than one might ever need for zoom calls ect.

Domesticated Animals:
If you plan to bring your pet(s), PLEASE NOTIFY US WHEN BOOKING. We charge a $50 dog fee, 2 dog maximum and up to 35 lbs. Smugglers will be caught and charged a fee of $75.

We love animals, but experience has taught us that not all pets are created equal. Please use good judgement when you consider bringing your pet along. Check the barkers, the markers and the pillow biters into the kennel. Also dogs should not be left unattended for extended periods of time (ie while skiing all day at Wolf Creek.) Bedrooms are off limits, doors should be kept closed and beds are for humans only. Damages incurred (including barking complaints) will be billed to the guest.

Hands down the best location in Pagosa Springs. Nestled quietly between Main St and the San Juan river Hermosa street offers all the peace and quiet of a mountain hide away with easy walking access to all the amenities of historic downtown.

Walk 50 yards to the "beach" at Cotton Hole on the river for tubing or fishing, then spend the afternoon meandering down the river walk path to the hot springs and circle back on down Main St. for a beer at Riff Raff brewery or a fancy dinner at the Alley House.

We love to hit the road and see the world, and we also love to host fellow travelers with a similar passion for adventure right here in Southern Colorado. Nikki was born and raised in Pagosa Springs and I instantly connected with it. Several years ago, we bought an old house on Hermosa St. downtown. With some hard work and a little love, our cabin evolved into what is now Casa Hermosa. When our daughter Tyler was born we moved to Pagosa full-time and we love it We shred Wolf Creek in the winter and camp and fish the river in the summer. And of course we like to share our house with folks who want to explore this great little mountain town.
