A wonderful place with plenty of room for us. The added bonus of a pool was much appreciated, some noise on the first night with planes coming in to land but after that hardly noticed them and we knew when we booked that it was near the airport. Mac was extremely helpful and he arranged for a wonderful tuk tuk driver for us who was very reliable and helpful. Anghor wat about 20 mins by tuk tuk. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone. Thank you Mac. Caroline, Bill and the boys.
There were 7 of us in a group and we were happy with the stay. The villa is not far from the airport and it is spacious. We like to gather around at the living room after a long day of travelling for beers and chitchat till late. Overall it's good.
Mac did a great job making us feel welcome. He was able to arrange transportation for everything. Everyone at the Paradise Eco Resort was friendly and helpful. The Garden Khmer Villa was spacious and nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Siem Reap. The food and (email hidden) were great. We loved seeing Angkor Wat and the unique city!
We were surprised, but pleasantly, that this wasn't just a "villa with pool," but a whole compound, with a lodge housing other guests and a restaurant. Basically it was like a SMALL hotel, with a huge and beautiful space for us alone and a very nicely landscaped area to share with others. Staff were friendly and responsive, the food was tasty, Mac warm and welcoming and very helpful. The tuk-tuk driver who picked us up at the airport also became our driver for the three days we spent touring temples, and drove us to the airport on the last day.
Mac was friendly n helpful. Stay was like homely feeling with lively surroundings. Ankhor wat is just 15 mins from villa easy access with took -took .
Our part of the Parardise Eco Resort was a house with four rooms, each with small attached toilets with a shower. The wi-fi worked well and the grounds were rustic. This isn't a Balinese-style pool villa, but Mac was a great host - arranging for our kits for the Angkor Marathon to be picked up and for our hiring of transport while we were in town, meeting us on arrival and laying on coffee and bananas to fuel us up early the next morning.
Since 2011 I live in Siem Reap. Prior to that I intensely travelled the countries Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Fortunately even now I find enough time touring around Cambodia. Here I specially like the khmer character, the evergreen nature and the fascinating biodiversity. Angkor Wat has me really drawn into spell, one of the reasons why I live in Siem Reap.
