The space
Come unplug and unwind in the countryside of Washington County! Built by my in-laws in 1951, the Guesthouse still holds its charm after being totally remodeled inside but some of the original parts are still there working great!

You’ll find two cozy bedrooms and a comfortable bathroom as well as a living room where you can unplug and unwind or enjoy the porch swing and take in the sights and sounds of nature.
No WIFI makes relaxing possible!

Country Roads Guesthouse strives to be as allergen free as possible.
*No Pets, Fragrances, WIFI*
*No Use of fabric softeners, air fresheners or pesticides*

We use Branch Basics for cleaning and hand soap and laundry.
Ginger Lily shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. If that doesn’t work for you, we can remove and you can bring your own products. Just let us know!

Wildlife is abundant in this natural setting, so you may just spot a few of our animal friends during your visit to our lovely corner of the world.

In the morning, the coffee/tea bar is ready to help you fuel up for a day of adventure, or you can simply relax on the porch and soak up the peaceful atmosphere while enjoying the koi fishpond.
We provide cornhole and lawn darts for outdoor fun.

When it's time to explore, you'll find plenty to do in the surrounding area and the nearby cities of Hillsboro, Beaverton, Portland and the Oregon Coast!

You will need a car to get here.
Drive or walk around the neighborhood. Drive slow because its a gravel road and children and wildlife share the road to!
A public Max station is about 15 minutes away.
There are delicious restaurants nearby in North Plains or Hillsboro.

Other things to note
We will personally greet every guest! We will hand you the key. Person named on reservation must be the one checking in. No third party bookings.

•Just to be clear, there is NO WIFI and we adhere to a strict NO animal policy due to severe animal allergies.

•We try our best to be as fragrance free as possible. Branch Basics is our main product for cleaning that we use.

•No smoking or vaping in the guesthouse. There is a designated smoking area outside if needed. There will be a $300 fine if any evidence of smoking inside.

•We are NOT equipped for electric car charging. Extension cords are not allowed.

•We only allow 4 overnight guests. No extra overnight guests allowed.

•Even though there is NO WIFI, there is a TV with over 100 DVDS and also an Apple adapter to view downloaded things from your Apple device.

Re: AIRBNB APP
•All communication is done on AIRBNB messaging from the start of your reservation to the end. It would be great, but not necessary, if you have the App downloaded on your phone so communication is easy and smooth between us. Thank you!

We live in the woods and occasionally see animals and insects native to the PNW. Our policy is to leave them alone. They are just passing through and are fun to watch from a distance if you are lucky enough to see any. If you have further questions regarding this, please ask!
