Respectful, community oriented people who appreciate nature, the beach and cultural aspects of San Diego.
What a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect and I honestly couldn't wish for more. The guest house is wonderful and its location is fantastic! Only a few minutes walk from the beach, several restaurants and bars. I couldn't ask for more...
This was my first time using airBnB, and wow was it amazing! My friends and I felt extremely welcomed and relaxed during our stay. The location was very close to the beach which made for a nice day, and the night was entertaining with drinks and cards on their patio.
I highly recommend this location and these hosts!
Kristen and Steve were such perfect hosts - thank you both! We were welcomed to their home with a glass of vino in their beautiful yard, and were totally made to feel at home. The entire space has a relaxing energy, which we loved.
The guest house is beautiful, and is equipped with everything that you need for a few days away. The location couldn't be more perfect - walking distance to fab local restaurants, as well as the bay - great for early morning runs or cycles. We miss the cheeky playtime with the dogs already. Thanks again guys. x
This was the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. The property was even more beautiful than the pictures and Kristen and her family could not have been more accommodating. They gave us plenty of great recommendations and great conversation. On a scale of 1-10 the experience was a 12!
We can't say enough amazing things about this incredible place! We stayed for two nights and had an absolutely perfect time.
The guest house is on a quiet road and set back behind a gate... When you enter, you feel like you're in your own little personal jungle / garden / nature oasis. Kristen has a beautiful home and the guest house sits privately next to it - we had access to the large outside area with comfortable patio furniture and hot tub! The guest house itself is warm, inviting and super comfortable. We made a pot of coffee every morning and loved waking up to the natural, beautiful San Diego light.
Kristen, her husband and daughter are such a kind, friendly and helpful family - they set us up with bikes and sun hats, and left us a ridiculously comprehensive guide of where to go and what to do. It was the perfect blend of complete privacy and helpful hosting. We loved sitting out on the patio catching rays, riding bikes all around the bay, Boardwalk and up to La Jolla, and taking in everything Pacific Beach has to offer.
One of our friends who lives in PB came over to say hi, and she said that SHE wanted to stay there even though she already has a house!
Staying at Kristen's confirmed to us yet again that Airbnb is such a great alternative to hotels if you really want to experience the local charm and personality of a new city.
When we come back to San Diego (and we definitely will!) we hope to come back to Kristen's again. Can't recommend highly enough!
Kristen is a really great host and we really enjoy the stay and happy to play with the dogs as well!
