Maria was a lovely and extremely helpful host, picking us up from the airport, baking us a cake, and giving us an excellent tour around Porto. If we had any questions or issues, she was always prompt in getting back to us, and helped make our stay really enjoyable. The flat is well-located for both the city centre and the Parque da Cidade (key for us as we were going to the Primavera festival), and is right above a supermarket. If we had any criticisms, it would be that there's not all that much in the way of cooking equipment in the flat (just a dual hot-plate + microwave) and - with 8 of us staying - there was occasionally an issue with the hot water running out. But in practice these were minor issues, and we'd definitely recommend people considering a week or two in Porto consider this apartment - not least because Maria is such a star.
