I rent my guest room whenever possible for a very simple reason: the savings are spent on developing our cozy garden and basement facilities.
You can see our other listings via my profile.
As this is a private home, and not a hotel, please respect that I can't respond to inquiries more than a month ahead.
The guest room is small and consists only of a closet and a sofa bed (which if necessary can be enlarged to sleep two persons). But you are of course welcome to use the whole house. The house is well designed, has a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with large sofa and TV, a working space, free and fast WiFi network (20/2mb) and direct access to our cozy garden.
We have public parking in front of the house - although usually difficult to find a parking.
There is a handful of supermarkets, take-away food, restaurants, kiosks, bakeries etc. are just around the corner. I also live right next to bus facilities and the Forum metro underground station. E.g. it takes 20 minutes from the Airport by the direct metro line. To the city center it's just one metro stop, or 10-15min. to the Copenhagen City Hall square if you feel like walking - from there you are close to all the best museums, shopping, restaurants and bars.
I can of course help you with recommendations for culture, nightlife, restaurants and city attractions that meets your interests, and am willing to help with other questions. And if you are interested in bike rental then I also have some contacts.

Frederiksberg has its own identity as a classy and quiet area. Its in walking distance from the city center (one metro stop) and located in the middle of the busier areas of Nørrebro and Vesterbro.
If you plan to go around by public transportation, I recommend you save money and buy a 10-travels card. The metro and bus 2A and 3A are just around the corner, and can basically bring you everywhere you need, but if you like to get around like the danes..you need a bike:)

Also look for apps, like e.g. the Copenhagen Wallpaper and metro app. In the Copenhagen airport and in some cafées you can find the free Danish newspaper in English, the Copenhagen Post: (website hidden)
Try traditional Danish food - “det store kolde bord” (meaning the large cold table) is a Danish buffet that brings together a variety of hot and cold dishes, including fish, meat, vegetables, bread etc. One of the specialties is “smørebrød”, a rye bread sandwich with butter topped with pieces meat, fish, vegetables or cheese. To follow, a bottle of Danish beer..of course.
the house is stylish and comfy and has a beautiful garden. Erland made it very easy to feel at home here.
We never had time to meet because I was only in the city for 24 hours and we weren't in the apartment at the same time, but Erland was a great host. I had lots of questions and he always texted me back very quickly. His place is awesome -- very close to a metro stop and in walking distance of some cool streets, running trails, shops, etc. I would highly recommend if you are traveling alone, as the sleeping area is perfect for one but cramped for two.
Once again a very plesant stay at 'Erlands'. I can recommend this place to everybody.
This was a fantastic first Airbnb experience. The house is very comfortable and the host, Erland, makes you feel extremely welcome and is very helpful. Highly recommend this place whilst you're in Copenhagen, I will definitely be staying there again when I'm back in town.
Eland is one of the reasons I love AirBnB. I stayed with him a couple e of nights in Copenhagen and it was a great experience.
His flat interior was beautiful, modern and very clean with wide windows facing his garden with nice bamboo trees. He had Apple TV installed (with awesome speakers) in the house so there was no problem to listen to my music right after arrival.
He communicated with me very clearly in the beginning making sure I had all information I needed. He had prepared the house manual with a lot of very useful information including a great step by step direction to get to his place. His flat is located in the centre of the city with great connection to the trains coming from the airport. there are supermarkets nearby for if you are interested in cooking at home and saving some bucks. that’s what I did and it was very fun doing the in Erlands awesome kitchen and all its great facilities, nice knives, trendy espresso machine and a very nice kitchen counter in the middle.
Erland was very friendly and prepared to give me hints about places to go in the city. he helped me with yoga centres, fitness centres and he also had a pile of very useful map and touristic information about Copenhagen, I’d say only a professional airBnB would be able to do this.
Erland is a knowledgeable and well travelled man and could teach you how to make a super healthy bread made wholly out of nuts. He was kind enough to make an exception to allow me to use his bike, as it was super helpful in Copenhagen. Next time in Copenhagen, I’d strongly recommend him. It was great meeting you Erland.
All was pleasant ! ) Convenient arrangement, pure and cozy apartment. And what wonderful view of a garden ! )
Erland very hospitable owner - helped me absolutely on all questions! In the following arrival I will stop only here! ) ) )
Erland was a total lifesaver! After my original reservation in Copenhagen was cancelled he was so kind as to confirm my booking within 24 hours, though it was just a mere nine days prior to my arrival. He was very communicative, prepared and informative. He offered suggestions on things to do in the city and was very friendly and kind. I enjoyed my stay in this cozy room. The flat is lovely and very comfortable.
I enjoyed my stay at Erland's place. He was a very easy going and helpful host. He recommended some places to visit and showed me a map. He even let me keep my luggage until the evening of the day I checked out. His place was nicely decorated just like the pictures and perfectly located near the metro station and city center. I would certainly recommend his place.
Erland is very friendly and helpful - great communication throughout the process. Really enjoyed my stay at his place, close to the Metro and quick access to the downtown area and tourist sites. Would highly recommend for those visiting Copenhagen! :)
Enjoyed staying at Erland's house. Recommendable.
