We spent a week in Carrick in the apartment & had a great time, for several reasons.... Glynis was a wonderful host & she showed us round the apartment on our arrival. She also had loads of tips for places to visit. The apartment was spotless & very well equipped, we felt right at home from the first minute on. The pubs & shops are within a stones throw & are worth a visit. Carrick is a great location to explore this part of Donegal, good place to base yourself. All up a wonderful week, we're looking forward to coming back. Many thanks Glynis. Rob & Julia.

The apartment was exactly as described. Sadly we did not meet Glynnis since she was away but she was available online to e-welcome us and to answer questions. Carrick was a great little town in centre of beautiful country Very convenient for groceries and access to our cycling routes.

Flat was as per Airbnb description. In really good condition and very clean. Pleasure to stay in. Glynis kept in touch to see if we had any issues and helped with our query on how the TV worked. Its a gorgeous part of Donegal, would recommend a visit!

Glynis was very welcoming, she had left fresh scones for us. Her flat is a lovely place to stay, very clean and tidy. It is also very well located in Carrick. It was a very nice place to stay and visit Donegal, we hopefully will come back soon.

We had arranged with Glynis to call her when we arrived and she was there about 5min later. She was very welcoming and showed us around the flat and explained how things worked, what's around the village and how to get the Slieve League. The flat was just as advertised and had everything we needed in the kitchen - she had even left us scones with jam and butter and a wee milk for our tea/coffee in the fridge. The only small thing was that many of the items in the kitchen were not properly cleaned by previous visitors, but that was quickly sorted by washing it before use.

Glynis met us at the flat on our arrival at Slieve League. She spent time with us showing us the workings of the appliances, heating system & television. She told us about the road to the views on Slieve League--and we headed up there later in the afternoon after an early dinner. She also had tips about other places of interest in the local area. The apartment was very well laid out for a quiet rest and the decor is beautiful. It added so much to the peacefulness of this location. The photos on the Airbnb website are exactly what we found the flat to be, but it is so much more when you are actually living there. Loved it!!
