Marta, her daughter and friends are nice, friendly and extremely generous.
The location is excellent, in Vila Mariana, a nice and safe bairro, few blocks from Ana Rosa metro station, connecting green and blue lines.
So far everything fine, but: certain areas of the house and mainly my room were very humid places, you could smell humidity all the time and other unpleasant smells impossible to identify. The mattress (just over a wood pallet base, not bed), sheet, pillow and blankets were also smelly, very old, overused and with stains. The room had a closet, but I couldn’t use it, as it was full of stuffs, so I had not place where to hang up my shirts. I just cold afford to lay my clothes over a desk.
The towels also had unpleasant smell and dirty appearance. One day before leaving the maid changed the towel but it was worst. Honestly, I hadn´t courage to use it, drying off myself with my own t-shirts. I am use to stay in all kind of places, I been in about eight homes in Sao Paulo through Airbnb but never had this experience.
Why did I stay in the house considering all this facts, instead of calling airbnb to complain and move? Well, I arrived 11:00 hrs at night and next day and rest of the week I´ve been in a rush, with no time for moving (thing that I seriously considered).
Very nice hosts that should consider investing a little money before offering their place.
Sorry you felt that way. We could fixed, especially the towels and everything if I just knew you didn´t liked, you could have told me. I receive many guests here, even without air bnb and nobody ever complaint of that, because they are vegetarians and alternative, maybe. But that add was very especific, this is an old house, almost a hundred years old, and also a restaurant so old places have diferent strnage smells, even though we are very carefull cleaning it. . We will be more carefull next time!!! Very sorry!!!
I enjoyed staying with Marta, Alexandre and Rebecca. Her place is in a good location close to the airport and metro which make you close to everything.
She is a great cook and very generous with the food in the house.
Her house is old but comfortable and I was happy there.
She has lots of good tips and it very helpful with advising you on what to do in Sao Paulo.
She does her best to make your stay nice.
