This charming Rome apartment is located in Via di San Vincenzo, just a few steps from the gorgeous Trevi fountain and from the beautiful Barcaccia fountain (close to the Spanish Steps). Next to the apartment there is the Quirinale, the presidential residence, with its beautiful gardens that can be visited one time in a year. The apartment has recently been renovated with a lot of taste from an excellent Interior designer. After entering, on the right you will notice the well equipped kitchen, with electrical stove, oven, toaster, fridge and freezer. All the necessary cookery equipment is provided in order to allow you to make a fantastic meal at home.
The living area features a comfortable sofa, a low table for the magazines, an Hi-Fi system, a flat 32″ TV, with Sky. The sofa can turn into a sofa bed in case of need. Shades of gray, white, beige and black are perfectly mixed together to give a cozy and pleasant feeling that you are at home now. Interesting paintings are located here and there to complete the elegant furniture of the apartment.
The master bedroom, quiet at night, has a king size bed, night tables, abat-jour, and wardrobes. The bathroom offers a wide bathtub with a showerhead. From all the windows of the apartment, you will see the surroundings Roman roofs, and a few lovely cupolas.
In the Trevi area you will find many charming and elegant restaurants, and several bars.
This area is also well served by public transportation, the nearest subway stop is Barberini-Fontana di Trevi.
We would recommend this unit to everybody, from young couples to mature travellers.
The best characteristics of this apartment are the location and the nice furnishing.
The flat is nice, has a comfortable bed and is and in a great location but I would not stay there again. I am usually not fussy about things not working when I rent a flat but this flat is relatively expensive and for that price I expect a certain level of service. There were two major issues that made my stay uncomfortable:
-there is no internet router in the flat (it seems that the owner is using the connection from the neighbouring flat); as a result I could not get on internet except for a few blessed hours where I had a bad signal
-the hot water was scarce. A 1-minute shower with hot water is all you can count on. Even after someone came to supposedly fix it. Forget about taking a bath in any case and if you're 2 in the flat there won't be enough hot water for two.
I did not receive any apologies from the owner or the person dealing with the flat and it seems that they just care about collecting the money.
Finally the flat is noisy even at night although advertised as quite.
We rented the Rome Loft appartment at the end of October 2013 and we really enjoyed it. We arrived early in the morning at the appartment with the Car Transfer Service (just perfect!) and were exceptionnally allowed to check-in at 10h30 thanks to Lorenzo's assistant who met us there by surprise. It was such a nice arrival and we could start to visit right after!!!! The appartment was nice and clean and had everything you need. The Internet works very well. The location is just perfect, next to the Trevi Fountain, by walking distance of everything. I recommend it and I will come back for sure. Thanks Lorenzo!!!!
Wow what can we say.... Thank you Lorenzo and Honey!!! What an amazing apartment and position!! The apartment is within easy walking distance to all the other attractions in Rome (We felt so Roman and the apartment has a beautiful romantic feel). Also Lorenzo and Honey are available at anytime, Honey was lovely recommended some great restaurants. We will be coming back again in 2014. Again thanks guys!!!
Thankyou Lorenzo! The location of the Trevi Stylish Apartment was unbeatable. The apartment was clean and prepared nicely for our arrival. Lorenzo's assistant was there when we arrived and helped us settle in. We would stay there again if we could when next we visit Rome. Had a wonderful time in Rome, largely because our apartment was so well-located.
You absolutely cannot get a better location than this apartment! Literally steps to the Trevi fountain, you can see it from the window. There are tons of restaurants nearby and a few small supermarket type stores. You are completely central and within walking distance to all the main sightseeing in Rome - we walked everywhere.
Everything about our stay went so smoothly. I ended up needing to book this apartment last minute as my other b&b had cancelled on me, and Lorenzo responded immediately to my inquiry and luckily had the room available! Even though check in was not until 1pm, he allowed me to check in early when we got in at 11:30am. We came in while the cleaners were just finishing and met Honey right on time. He carried my heavy luggage up 4 flights of stairs, showed us around the apartment and arranged for a car service to drive us to the airport for the day of our departure. He was very responsive the entire length of our stay when we had questions.
The apartment itself is nicely appointed and equipped with everything you need, including a full kitchen (we cooked dinner one night, had everything we needed). There is an air conditioner in the bedroom and the main living area that worked great, although the one in the bedroom was colder. The wifi was excellent, bed was firm and very comfortable, and the apartment smelled great! It did seem to look larger in the pictures than it really is, but there was plenty of space for the 2 of us, and the ceilings are really high making it feel larger. We did not have any issues with noise at all - the apartment is on the 4th floor of the building, down the street from the Trevi Fountain, and the windows were excellent and provided adequate noise suppression.
I would completely recommend this apartment to anyone going to Rome, it beats all of the hotels in the same area in both price and quality.
We had a pleasant stay at the apartment despite a disappointing first impression. We realized that the check-in time is 13.00 "no exception" so we arranged to arrive at the apartment at 16.00 by car. It was difficult driving to the apartment because of the narrow streets but we managed to get there at 15.50. No one was there to meet us so we couldn't unload our luggages and had to find parking elsewhere. We called the company and one of the agents said that Lorenzo is on his way. We waited until 16.20 and called again. This time the agent said he'll be there in five minutes. At 16.35 someone did arrive, but it was not Lorenzo. He showed us to the apartment which was still being cleaned (the bed hasn't been made and the toilet hasn't been cleaned). After showing us all the facilities and rules I told him that the air-conditioning in the living doesn't seem to be working; only warm air was coming out. He said that it will take a while. I asked if he could help me getting our luggages from the car while my wife stay with the girls in the apartment with the cleaner. "No, I can't" was his reply. So we all left to get the luggages which took us about 20 mins because of the distance and many pieces of our belongings. After the first trip up three flights of stairs to the apartment, the cleaner has finally finished and kindly offered to help with the rest of our luggages. We finally settled in around 18.00. By that time the air-conditioner in the living room was still not working. I wanted to call the agent, but my wife was tired and didn't want to wait for the man to come back, so we left to return our car to the rental company. We decided to sleep together in the main bedroom using the mattress on the couch as a spare bed.
We managed to enjoy ourselves in Rome. The location of the apartment is great.
i'm very sorry for the misunderstanding and the delay at your arrival and also for the problem with the luggages.
I had a problem on your arrival day but i hope you will accept my excuses and i also hope that you will contact me if you will come back to Rome, i will be happy to meet you.
My best regards
This gorgeous apartment is centrally located just steps away from Trevi Fountain, which you can view from the apartment windows, and sometimes hear the throngs of people visiting the fountain. Situated on the top floor, this beautiful, well-appointed space is loaded with charm and style. The bedroom is spacious and the comfortable bed was nice to come home to. The living room's sofa converts into an adequate sleeper. My favorite part is that most of the apartment is filled with natural light, with the exception of the kitchen's tiny window. The bathroom is adequate, however, the shower/tub drain is very slow. The wifi signal was strong and consistent most of the time. There is a Despar grocery store within a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment and an atm across from the McDonald's, also 5-10 minutes. Most of the tourist sights (Pantheon, Forum, Colosseum, Spanish Steps ) are all within 20-30 minutes by foot. Lorenzo was an accommodating host. His excellent communication from confirming the reservation to smooth early check-in and swiftly answering our queries and requests, made our travel experience stress-free. We'll be sure to come back and stay here again.
Rome was a wonderful trip with friendly locals and the Trevi Loft apartment was a perfect location. Easy access to the sights (Pantheon, Villa Borghese, Spanish Steps, Colesseum). The taxi stand just beyond the Trevi Fountain was perfect. Lorenzo and Sibilla were great for coordinating airport pick up right to the Cafe next to the apartment!! Lorenzo was very easy to reach and always provided the answer to our questions. A highlight was eating dinner at La Rosetta looking at the Pantheon and enjoying a romantic, wonderful seafood meal. La Rosetta lived up to it's reputation and grazie Mille to the italian gentleman and his wife giving us a "thumbs up" recommendation while we looked at the menu. La Rosetta staff/chef/owner were the best and thanks for accommodating "tourists" without reservations.
Our stay in this apartment was very pleasant, mainly due to its ideal location: most sites were within walking distance and what a treat to see the amazing Trevi fountain daily!
Please note that the apartment is only ever used for renting, therefore you will only find the bare minimum essentials: toilet papaer, salt & pepper, oregano, but no olive oil (in Italy!), so you should expect to have to buy everything from A to Z.
Also, the pictures make the apartment look much bigger than it actually is, and if you are planning to eat in, then you will have to move a lot of furniture around. If, on top of that, you are using the sofa bed, then forget it: it will take up all the space in the living room and leave none for the coffee table, let alone the dining table.
Nevertheless, it really is a very pleasant place to stay at.
Very nice apartment and it would be difficult to get a better location.
Great stay in Rome!
