Room for rent in duplex with terrace, located on a quiet pedestrian street, just meters from the Feria Street Market, in the heart of the Alameda de Hercules, a bohemian neighborhood. All the rooms are equipped with wooden floor , including the bathroom. The kitchen is located in the attic, connected to the terrace by large windows. The room is also located in the attic connected to the terrace by large windows. The furniture of the room allows you to sleep on 2 separate beds 80 cm or 1 bed of 160 cm (like you see at photos). It is very easy to transform it by means of hinges and wheels effortlessly. The room has got too a wardrobe,a heater, internet wifi and air conditioning for the heat days in summer in Seville. The house has no living room, but the kitchen being connected to the terrace by large windows, you have great feeling of space.
The flat is located in the area of Alameda de Hercules wich is full of life (my favorite area in Seville) and you can find a market (to buy fresh fruits and vegetables , fish and meat), Chinese shops (open from 9 am to 23 pm), cafes, bar (where you can eat "tapas"), banks, etc.
It is about 10 minutes walking to the main monuments (Cathedral, Torre del Oro). The river is about 5 minutes walking too.
This neighborhood is called the Alameda for being around the Alameda de Hercules, square which is full of life with its bars, tapas, coffee shops, concerts. In the 90's the neighborhood had a change at all levels and were rehabilited all old house and began to be occupied by artists and bohemians of Seville, from being a slum to be a neighborhood where live many social classes and where everybody knows everybody.Proximity to old town makes this neighborhood one of the most attractive for those who want to explore the city and know the essence and the manners people Sevilla. In this neighborhood will find many bars where people gather to have a beer and socialize
Areas to emphasize in the neighborhood
-Feria Street : is the main street of this area, because is full of people, many shops, bars, Chinese shops, fast food, there's a food market where you can buy fruits, meats and fish of the (website hidden) the back part there is a bar where you can have breakfast or have a beer with fried fish .You have to ask for the "bar of the market"
-Antiquies market( only On Thursday) is a market that places on the Feria street where selling antiques, books and many curious objects
Restaurants and tapas bars:
-La Madraza (Peris Mencheta street): Mediterranean food restaurant where you can also eat tapas and wine at a good price. There is an air conditioning and it is lighty and cool local
-Calatrava Street: This street has many bars from the beginning (starting at Barqueta Bridge) to the end (Alameda de Hercules) Many bars have free seating in the open air .I recommend you always choose the bars where there are more people
-Casa Paco (Alameda de Hercules) many "tapas" nice price and outdoor seating in the middle of Alameda de Hercules
-Contenedor (SanLuis street): very cool restaurant with artistic decoration and good food and good wine. The price is a bit higher than another
-La azotea ( Jesus del Gran Poder street): excellent restaurant with a very good kitchen and wine. The only thing is that the place is very difficult to find a free table because its small
-La cacharreria (Regina street): bar very small but very nice with a special breakfast with toast, juices and fruit and located on Calle Regina, attractive pedestrian shopping street
-Cafe Hercules (Peris Mencheta street)
-Café Piola (Alameda de Hércules)
-Alameda de Hercules :many bars to have a breakfast in the open air
I always recommend that you buy the Giraldillo wich sell in any newstand. Its a monthly magazine where you can know the most important events of the month (concerts, flamenco, exhibitions, museums etc.)
Too is highly recommend the free magazine "Yuzin"
Flamenco La carboneria (Calle Levies, 18) Flamenco free daily

My second time in Sevilla at Oscar's apartment, but this time in the private room ... everything was good. I didn't see Oscar this time, but that happens when you know the place and you feel like home. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend his place.
Oscar is a really nice guy~And the room is clean and comfortable. We booked two rooms in one apartment with everything we need. Also they provided us picking-up service, really convenient, and thanks a lot to Jorge, a cute Spanish guy who picked us up on time every time.
Excelente ubicación e instalaciones.
Our stay in this shared apartment was very nice. We had a room of our own upstairs, next to the kitchen, which is very well equipped. This is also true for the nice and big bathroom downstairs.
There is also a nice terrace, which we didn't use too much because our stay was in February. But we also had a nice heater in our room, so that it wouldn't get cold.
Oscar visited us a few times and cleaned parts of the house and refilled the soap for example.
The apartment isn't directly next to the biggest tourist attractions, but you can reach everything within a short fifteen minute walk.
perfect location, clean apartment, friendly host!
really nice accomodation!you feel like home.
it has also an interesting space.
My wife and I had a good stay in Seville. The layout of this apartment is a little unique, so I think it's worth sharing. Both of the 2 bedrooms in this apartment are for rent on Airbnb. This room, that we stayed in, is on the 2nd floor next to the kitchen. There is a large porch on the 2nd floor that the bedroom and kitchen have access to. The other room is on the 1st floor next to the shared bathroom. There isn't a living/sitting room.
The place was pretty nice and the price is good, so I'd recommend it for a few nights, but I have to point out a few things that really could be improved on: There are only heaters in the bedroom, which worked well, but the rest of the apartment was really cold. Also, the shower is the only faucet to get hot water, so the kitchen and bathroom sinks were freezing. Sadly, the mattress is literally a piece of foam (not a real mattress), so not the most comfortable.
Overall, it did the trick for us, but a few adjustments would have made the stay much more enjoyable.
It was very nice room! Oscar is very nice host, too. kitchen and bathroom are clean and room is warm. You can use transfer service from bus station in reasonable cost. I want to stay here again!
Agradable y simpatico.
La habitacion luminosa y limpia.
Todo muy bien, gracias Oscar! Muy buena ubicación y el apartamento está de 10!
