The Bly house, built by the authors, Steven & Janet Bly, is a time trip and testament to their combined, ample creativity. A Hollywoodesque 1880’s western town adjoins a comfortable 4-bedroom home. Nearby Winchester State Park offers year-round activities: go fish, kayak, hike, bird watch, winter trek, snowmobile, 4-wheel, hunt in a beautiful forest framed by rolling grain fields. Family getaway, reunion, wedding, retreat, add a chapter to your story, it begins with wonderful memories.

The space
First glance, an old 1800's western town with a modern four bedroom home attached. Bathrooms with linens, towels and wash cloths, soap, tissue.
Three upper bedrooms, one lower: upper master is a plush new king with private bath/shower.
Upper two bedrooms rooms each with new plush queen beds, share hall bathroom, bath & shower.
Lower bedroom, plush new king bed and bunk bed, twin over full. Lower lavatory, shower sink, washer and dryer.
Full kitchen, cookware and dinner ware, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, some cooking spices, seasoning, olive oil. Adjoining dining room and front room open design, couch and armchairs for enjoyable social engagement.
High speed internet, Smart TV, modern LED fireplace heater, front porch sitting area, back porch gas BBQ. Beautiful year around.

Guest access
Ample parking, a few blocks to a convenience store and fuel, children friendly restaurant bar & grille, library, historic museum, butcher, and additional lodging. Across the road from Winchester State Park and lake, with free fishing docks. Hike or bike leisurely the trail around the entire lake, 3.6 miles. A small town, bring a bike, golf cart or comfortable shoes and see it all.

Other things to note
Visit: blybooks.com and Nez Perce County Historical Society & Museum: nezpercecountymuseum.com, for more information and history. The Nez Perce history surrounds us. There is also another museum in the area: Monastery of St. Gertrude, worth the time for a visit. Also, a short drive to see, the remains of a Columbian mammoth that were discovered in 1994, in nearby Tolo Lake. Housed for viewing in Grangeville Idaho.
