Located on over 1000 acres of private farm land with views of Mt Hood and Mt Adams from nearly every hilltop you can soak in the sunshine and silence of country life from this cozy escape while watching elk graze away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

This 1800s Farm house has been tastefully remodeled with modern comforts such as, Central AC and Heat, Washer Dryer, and Smart TV.

The space
Funds from your booking go directly to helping pay for food for animals, salaries for farm staff and regenerative growing initiatives to improve soil and the ecosystem around us!

There are 4 bedrooms, 3 with doors and 1 with curtain.

The kitchen is equipped with the original farm washbasin sink, all the pots pans and bakeware you could ever need. You may notice the refrigerator is not pictured that is because it's just off the kitchen in the utility room area through the door to the right of the stove. It's a full sized fridge and available for guest use.

We just installed a shower attachment and ring to the original basin style farm tub.

The living room features a lazy-boy leather recliner, Amazon Fire Smart TV, and small heat pump electric fireplace. and two wingback arm chairs for lots of comfortable seating options.

To the front of the farmhouse is an open field great for sitting in camp chairs and watching the sunset. Or hike up the hillside to the forested area and watch the sun go down behind mount hood!

This house is right in the middle of our Farm Operations. There is a Washer/Dryer (not pictured) off the kitchen for guest use in the utility room as well as a full sized refrigerator.

We can accomodate RV's with advanced notice at $60/ night. We do not offer hookups.

This is a working farm and 100+ y/o farm house, flies, spiders and critters are common and while we clean thoroughly after each guest we can't keep the "country" out entirely! Many guests find it fun to take their party out and use the iNaturalist App to identify as many types of flora, fauna and insects as possible. Our farm staff use this tool to track the health of the farm as we work hard to convert more and more land to regenerative farming! You can be a part of helping us track our progress by participating in this way!

We do not allow dogs off leash at this house due to proximity to farm operations (big machinery/ safety) and animals but offer other accommodations on the north side of the farm where dogs are very welcome! DM us if you'd like to see those!

Bikes are allowed but motocross & ATV's are not. Our insurance will not allow it.

Guest access
There are 1462 acres to access. 15 miles of fence to walk (trail next to it) - 9 miles of roads.

The South Farm Complex has the house you’ll be staying in, as well as:

- Metal Barn
- Wood Barn
- Bunk house
- Grainhouse
- Bath House
- Chicken House
- Workshop and about 300 acres of which 150 or so is pasture and 150 is Oak Woodlands. There are lots of views of Mt Hood and Mt Adams. We encourage you to explore and find them all!

Please do ask us when you are here if you want a 1 to 15 mile hike.

Other things to note
The last 1.5 miles of Rail Hollow Road is gravel.

Dogs are not permitted at south farm. While we LOVE dogs our farm operations with heavy equipment and sensitive live stock make having dogs at this house dangerous for dogs, staff and animals.

House Rules:

Report any injuries, damages or complaints to us right away.

No ATV's or Dirt-bikes (sorry insurance won't allow it!)

4 wheelers on property are for staff use only.

If there is a gate, or fence do not enter.

Please DO look around and see how we run our farm. We want you to be able to explore and share the experience!

Please do- not distract farm workers. It's OK to waive or give a friendly hello and if they stop to chat with you that's A-OK too! But Farming is time sensitive and hard work and we want our colleagues to feel like they can focus on the farm. Tours can be given with advance request on Saturdays.

No fire arms or hunting without prior permission.

No chasing farm animals or wildlife.

No fires- ever- guests caught attempting to light fires will be asked to leave immediately and will not be granted refunds.

Quiet hours from 9pm to 7am.

If your party is greater than 7 it's $25/ person per night. This is because we're on a private well with limited water supply.

Please pack out your trash. We provide trash bags and a can to use during your stay but we do not have a regular trash service at the farm due to our remoteness.

AC/Heat is kept at 50F when guests are not present. If it's cold on arrival turn heat and fireplace on right away so you can warm up.

RV's permitted for additional $60/ night.

Gatherings or events permitted with additional notice. We can accommodate large gatherings at the farm! We just need advanced notice, additional event insurance and additional fee's may apply.

Please notify in advance if you wish to use the bunk house. It is attached to the farm house but isn't cleaned as often and we want to make sure its tidy for you!

Signed waiver is required for all guests prior to their stay. We will send it to you in advance of your booking for signature.
