The location is gorgeous, the neighborhood is quiet, and the property is spacious and well maintained. The owners (and their pets) are so friendly and very communicative - this was our first Airbnb experience and it went great! 10/10, would check in again!

This is a wonderful home in a quiet and safe atmosphere. The space is the third floor including two small bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living area. The hosts have two dogs and a cat, and they are friendly and well-behaved. The space is well maintained and comfortable. Would love to visit again.

It was delightful to stay at Cindy's home! It's in a beautiful location that is very green and quiet, and is also close to the city. Cindy and her husband are very friendly and hospitable, and their dogs are great, too! I highly recommend staying there!

Cindy and Dennis are very nice people. The area was very nice and the property was nice. The home however was a bit small and the rooms a bit awkward to get to especially if you have bags or cooler. It's an older home so the steps going up to the rooms are very narrow. When we arrived the home was dark which made us think no one was home. The doors opened and we were welcomed however we were shown to the room and the refrigerator that was in their 2 car garage. By the way, they quickly had to clean off one shelf of the fridge. With that said...if you want anything cold in your room...take an extra small soft side cooler to take up with you. The 2 days were very warm and the home was not air conditioned. Since the rooms were upstairs, it was much warmer. There were 2 fans between 3 rooms! We managed though. We were never told anything about the area, where to go, what not to miss, and were never told about wifi being available or not. It was awkward to go downstairs to go through their home while Cindy and Dennis were watching tv to get to the garage to the fridge. It was awkward to ask if we can use the coffee maker while Cindy and Dennis were having their breakfast. A suggestion.....the upstairs by the "desk area" was not clean (papers, CDs, flashlights, etc) and it did not have a light (it was broken), this would be a perfect place for a small coffee maker and under the desk a small fridge! All in all our girls weekend was a blast, the weather was great, the area is great AND Cindy and Dennis a very nice people and thank you for letting us in your home.

Response from Cindy:
In response: Upon Yvonne's arrival, the sun had not set, it was still light outside so we had not yet turned on any house lights, we typically don't until it starts getting dark as our house has many windows which bring in lots of natural light. I had a shelf in the refrigerator in the kitchen cleared for Yvonne as we do for all our guests. They brought far more food than most guests do. She asked me if they could take their large, heavy, cooler up stairs, I gave the option of helping carry it up OR putting some things in our kitchen fridge OR putting the cooler in the garage where it would stay cooler AND/OR making space in the garage fridge for them. They opted for the garage, so I made space in that fridge and Dennis and I carried their heavy cooler to the garage for them. Our home is a charming, old farmhouse. Our listing outlines all the amenities and A/C is not one of them. We have the fan/open-closed window cooling system well figured out after 30 years. The 2 fans have been sufficient for everyone who has stayed and lived up there ...until now. Had they asked I could have provided an additional fan. They told me they were comfortable and slept well. Yvonne asked me in an email before her arrival about the area, she was not very specific so I responded to her email with some general info and told her we could discuss in more detail when she arrived. When they arrived she only asked where the nearest grocery store was and I told her. I could have provided more info had they asked. We don't like to overwhelm guests with info and chat unless they initiate it. We are however, friendly, polite and responsive when engaged. Again, our listing outlines all included amenities and wifi IS one of them. On the coffee table in the accommodations I had left a slip of paper with the wifi password and on the desk there is a paper with the network and password as well. On the desk there are CD's because some people like music as there is a CD player up there too. There are flashlights because occasionally the power goes out, there are pens and paper incase someone needs them. The desk is not cluttered this is all on one edge of the desk and neatly tucked on a 2 shelf cubby. This has never been a problem before. As for the broken light, I don't check it after every guest, but it was working 2 weeks ago. On examination, it is not broken the bulb burned out. If they had let us know we would have fixed it/replaced the bulb immediately. Prior to Yvonne's arrival she asked if we had a coffee maker they could use. I told them I had one in the kitchen and they were welcome to use it. They brought their own but forgot the filters so they brought me their coffee and I made it for them while they got ready to go in the morning. I'm sorry they felt awkward walking through our home to go to their room, the garage and ask to use the coffee maker. We have had many guests (since 2012) and NEVER had the comment of anyone feeling awkward in our home before. We try very hard to make all our guests feel welcome and comfortable. I think Yvonne and friends would be happier in the future finding accommodations that are not rooms inside someone's home. Our place is best suited for travelers who are open, communicative, friendly, easy-going and enjoy meeting and sharing space with new people. Every other review we have ever gotten reflects that outgoing spirit, gratitude and appreciation for our Farmhouse and our hospitality.

Cindy's home is very nice in a beautiful secluded location. A great value to get the entire upstairs including a bathroom and living room. I felt very much at home. Cindy was very accommodating of my late arrival. A great location for a quiet getaway.
