A wonderful place for families and groups of friends who want to escape the crowds and be close to beaches, bays, lakes, woods -- pure nature -- and the charm of a New England town settled by Pilgrims in 1693. A place to create sweet memories.

-- Nickerson State Park (four miles), 1,900 acres with big, pristine lakes with sandy beaches, and trails through the woods.

It takes you to the lakes of to Nickerson State Park in Brewster, and the gorgeous beaches and lakes of Wellfleet -- without any parking hassles (Wellfleet doesn’t allow non-residents to park at most beaches and lakes except after 5 p.m.)! Rent bikes next to the Trail, or rent them for the week and have them delivered to the house.

I travel a lot, mostly to Europe and Latin America, for my work as a consultant to international development organizations, NGOs and businesses. I also contribute time to helping filmmakers and artists. Variety is the spice of my life, and I love sharing the experience of my flavorful NYC neighborhood and a house close to nature on Cape Cod (please see my reviews).
