The space
Tucked away on 20 serene acres of forest, ponds, and winding streams, the Ponder Yonder Retreat offers a luxurious getaway – perfect for two or three families all year round. With four bedrooms - three suites and a bunk room - two spacious living rooms and a game room, there's room for everyone to come together or spread out and do their own thing. Whether you’re soaking in the indoor hot tub after a day on the slopes, playing ping pong in the game room, paddling across the ponds, or roasting marshmallows by the firepit under a sky full of stars, there's something for everyone.
THE HOUSE
1st floor:
* Living room: Tons of windows, cozy seating, chess table, and smart TV – ideal for relaxing with a book or movie.
* Hot tub: A private indoor hot tub for unwinding year-round, especially after a day on the slopes.
* Bedroom 1: Queen suite with newly renovated full bathroom (shower/tub combo), large smart TV , closet, and dresser.
* Bedroom 2: Bunk room with two full/twin bunk beds with built in drawers for storage, closet, and desk -- perfect for kids and teens.
* Bathroom: Renovated hallway bathroom with double sinks and a luxurious walk-in rain shower.
* Laundry room: New large-capacity washer/dryer, with detergent and dryer sheets available.
* Attached garage: A three-car garage with parking for two cars -- and a pool table in the third bay. Radiant heat keeps games warm even in the winter.
* Front porch: Covered entry porch with rocking chairs overlooking a pond.
2nd floor:
* Kitchen: Chef's dream -- fully equipped with cherry cabinets, large island w/seating, dishwasher, coffee machine and grinder, waffle iron, blender, marshmallow sticks, and more. Has a kitchen table, desk and printer, plus a small back deck overlooking the meadow. The kitchen is stocked with spices, olive oil, tea, paper towels, and dish soap.
* Dining room: Seats 10 comfortably for big family meals.
* Veranda: Covered deck with grill, outdoor dining table, and rocking chairs -- perfect for morning coffee and lazy evenings.

Getting here: The last half mile of road and driveway are gravel. Both are regularly plowed, but 4WD is recommended in the winter.
Guest access
There are two spots to park in the three-car garage and plenty of parking just outside the garage. Self check-in with a keypad.
Other things to note
In the winter, a 4WD is needed to navigate VT roads and to access our house.
Guests use the hot tub, bunk beds, pond, and boats at their own risk. The two small cabins on the property are not usable.
No cats! We have a family member who is allergic!
