Neighborhood highlights

This is a small mountain community adjacent to gorgeous conservation land, 7 miles from downtown Asheville. Our driveway is steep, but newly paved on the steepest section. All wheel drive or 4x4 required if snow is in the forecast.
The cabin is not remote but rather in a quaint mountain community with a few mobile homes, the Appalachian vernacular. There are two vacation homes in close proximity to the A-frame, but the cabin and patio are arranged to maximize privacy. The cabin is also in a valley with a farm, so you may sometimes hear the distant sounds of geese, goats, dogs and chickens :)
Pets are welcome at the cabin with our approved lease. Given our location next to undeveloped land, we do have occasional wildlife visits, so please do not leave pets unattended outside. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful rhododendron in full bloom early summer. We are also 1 mile from Warren Wilson hiking trails. Enjoy!
