Description

The space

Located at Villas El Parque in the heart of Manuel Antonio, this one bedroom self catering condo is ideal for two guests.

Wake up in the morning and have your coffee overlooking the Pacific and enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle. Centrally located close to The National Park and the beaches. You will often see Squirrel, Capuchin and Howler monkeys, a wide array of tropical birds and if you're lucky a sloth or two.

The condo is arranged with a full kitchen opening onto the dining area, the bedroom has a Queen sized bed and the balcony has a million dollar view of the Pacific and Manuel Antonio National Park.

Villas El Parque is a short walk from a great selection of restaurants, bars and convenience stores and since you're on holiday they will deliver to you. If the mood takes you.

There are excellent bus and taxis services which will take you in one direction to the National Park and beaches and in the other to Quepos and the Marina Val Pez, should you fancy a day on the water fishing some of the most exciting waters in the region, if not the world.

Guest access

Our guests have full use of the apartment along with access to the communal laundry (there is a small fee to the condominium for this) and of course full use of the pool and BBQ area.

Interaction with guests

We like to meet our guests when they check in and out and are always on hand should you want any help or advice.

The neighborhood

We're in the heart of Manuel Antonio, top of the hill almost ;-). You can walk to the best restaurants and an easy bus ride to the beach, National Park or Quepos.

Getting around

We have a local bus shuttle that runs from Quepos to manuel Antonio beach, it costs about 60 cents and runs every 20 minutes. There are also lots of regulated taxi's and car hire. Car hire is only necessary if you want to explore further afar.

Other things to note

Our minimum booking term may be longer than three days between December 26th and January 4th. However it is still worth enquiring, we will try and fit you in if possible.

So charming & cozy, with great views of the ocean! Also very private. We loved napping on the balcony and watching for birds & monkeys. Tariq's place was clean, comfortable & had the extras we needed. Lots of restaurants close by & a small market. Loved our visit & would definitely return!

This place was great with an amazing view. Very clean with nice amenities. Hot water, full kitchen, safe, king sized bed, and hammock on the balcony overlooking the beach and forest. Washer and dryer available for use in complex for an additional fee. Place was walking distance from many restaurants and shops. Short bus ride to the park/beach. Tariq was very nice and kept good communication. Overall, really great place!

Tariq was a wonderful host - very accommodating and excellent with communicating when we had a mix up with our keys! We loved having a supermarket just steps away from us, as well as plenty of restaurants. It was about a 30 minute walk to Manuel Antonio National Park or a 5-10 minute bus ride, which was super easy and convenient. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with utensils as well as basics like oil and coffee!

Absolutely loved the view here! Place was great and clean. Loved having the AC for sleeping, very hot and humid outside. Public bus stop close by to get around. Close to restaurants, a small market, and some shops. Really did see monkeys almost everyday from the balcony!

I cannot say enough good things about Tariq's place. The location is fantastic - you are within walking distance to many great restaurants, bars and cafes. I highly recommend the restaurant Aqua Azul just behind the condo and walking down to Selina if you want to catch some music and have a few drinks to wrap up the night. Manuel Antonio park is a short bus/taxi ride away - which is nice because you are out of the "hustle and bustle" near the park. The condo itself is very well kept with an AC that will keep you cool when needed. The view from the balcony is amazing and you could easily spend a day in the hammock watching birds and monkeys as the pass through the nearby trees. Tariq was a great host and responded quickly whenever we had a question. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Lovely place with a great view. Lots of animals roam around the area and we were greeted by a new creature everyday (though not too many monkeys). The pool is super convenient and a great way to cool down and feel clean after a humid day in the ocean. You might feel isolated to the walkable area of the unit and so end up eating and spending time at the same 3-4 restaurants and having to plan a bit ahead to do something different. The surrounding restaurants are great (Milagro's became a personal favorite) but you'll soon wish it were easier to try some new places by the beach or in Quepos. The bus is nice but does realistically take 30-45 minutes to get where you want. Expect some bugs to make it into be unit, especially the entrance and bathrooms which are more directly exposed. You can't really leave food out at all without ants finding their way to it.

Response from Tariq:
Hi Joey, Regarding the bugs, it's Costa Rica and we back onto a tropical rain forest. Leaving food out isn't a great idea, this is why we supply plastic food containers. It's not a cleanliness issue on our part.
