Find your home away from home in Belfast's best neighbourhood. You'll have the perfect base to explore Belfast and Northern Ireland in a charming Victorian house where old-fashioned features mix with modern comfort and luxury.
The house is also certified with the Northern Irish Tourist Board, meeting strict statutory requirements as a provider in NI.
Set over three floors, the house is spacious, bright, inviting, carefully decorated throughout and offers plenty of reading material (including maps and guides) clean linens, towels and toiletries.
The attic bedroom has a very comfy double bed, and is bright, welcoming and cosy, with a South American feel. The room has a desk, central heating, electric blankets and internet access/wifi. Guests are provided with a housecoat and slippers.
The house is located on a very quiet residential street in the heart of Belfast's Ormeau Road - a safe, family-friendly and diverse area where you can find great restaurants and cafes, contemporary bars and traditional pubs. Only 25 min walk into the very centre of the city and 10min walk to nearby Ormeau Park. Virtually outside the door is the city centre bus stop which will also take you to take to the Botanic Gardens/ Queen's University/Ulster Museum.
Guests who book to stay for more than 4 days may use the kitchen to prepare meals and will be provided with kitchen storage space.
I'm a Belfast native and have lived abroad and travelled the globe. I love welcoming people to the city and to my home and look forward to making your trip special. I have worked in Universities, Colleges, City Councils, Voluntary and Community Sectors and have a life time of community development involvement. I am happy to provide information on city tours outlining the history of the Conflict, and visits to explore the cultural and artistic legacy of the City. Please inquire about optional extra rooms in the house (I have 4 bedrooms) as the Airbnb reservation system shows bookings for only one room.

I'm a native of Belfast and have also lived in both England and the U.S. I love traveling and have done so extensively- over the past year when I have visited Italy, Russia, Spain and Germany. My daughter currently lives in Manhattan which will now be my main focus of travel.
My professional background covers Community Development, Further Education and Peace-building. I have been Chair of several community organisations and recently put together Belfast's first women's history tour. In my free time, I love reading (especially related to history and art), good food and good conversation. I attend at least one class of physical activity each day; yoga, Pilates, badminton, swimming, walking etc.
Over the years, I've seen Belfast transform and I especially love welcoming visitors to the city which is rich in history and great for the craic (Irish for fun and humour). I'm always happy to give tours and information on the social and historical nature of the area as well as traditional music and the surrounding countryside.
Look forward to meeting you!
