I had a wonderful stay in Belfast hosted by Brigid. She was so welcoming, accommodating and lovely to talk to. Brigid was full of ideas of how to spend my limited time in the city and her suggestions were exquisite. I would definitely stay with her again if I return.
Brigid was very warm and friendly, I had a bad cold when I arrived, she went above and beyond the call of duty, finding me a cough medicine.
Brigid is so lovely. She bends over backwards to make your stay so easy and pleasant. There is always tea/coffee on offer.. and everything else that makes life just that little easier - highly recommend staying… She is like a mum away from home.
Really great place, great host and not too far away from the city centre. I would strongly recommend staying here. Bridget was so helpful! She is a really friendly and relaxed host who gave me excellent suggestions of what to do in Belfast. I just spent one night there but I was overwhelmed by Brigid's hospitality. I also had a great breakfast there with everything that I needed :) I will definetly come back when I am in Belfast next time.
Brigid was a wonderful host. Her home is very comfortable, cosy and convienient for the ormeau road and buses to the city centre. I'll definitely try to stay here next time I visit Belfast.
I just had the most lovely stay with Brigid in Belfast. She was warm, welcoming, always a cuppa tea close by (or a sweater, or valuable information for a visitor). She made sure I knew the best things to see or do. I totally recommend staying in this lovely, bright, colourful art- and book-filled home close to everything in Belfast.
Brigid has been the most wonderful host you could ever think of. I stayed with her for 5 five nights to get settled in Belfast, and this was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. Brigid made sure I would have a smooth arrival and transition and to get everything sorted out. She helped me a lot with finding a permanent place to stay, though I wish I could stay with her for longer! :) Brigid's wonderful house is just extremely welcoming and cozy, and because of Brigid and the beautiful place, you feel at home right away. I can only highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in Belfast, either for a few days on a vacation trip or if in a similar situation as I, to stay with Brigid! :)

I'm a native of Belfast and have also lived in both England and the U.S. I love traveling and done so extensively- over the past year, I have visited Italy, Russia, Spain and Germany.
My professional background covers community development, further education and peace-building. I have been Chair of several community organisations and recently put together Belfast's first women's history tour. In my free time, I love
reading (especially related to history and art), good food and good conversation. Over the years, I've seen Belfast transform and I especially love welcoming visitors to the city which is rich in history and great for the craic (Irish for fun and humour). I'm always happy to give tours and information on the social and historical nature of the area as well as traditional music and the surrounding countryside.
Look forward to meeting you!
