it was a fantastic stay!
My husband, adult son and I were very happy in Teresa's flat. The flat is very comfortable and charming - and full of intersting pictures! Teresa gave us a warm welcome in the flat - and provided fruit, bread and jams for breakfast - and a delicious bottle wine. Thank you, Teresa! Made us feel at home straight away:-) We stayed five days and had a wonderful time in Rome. Staying so close to the Vatican meant, for instance, that we could visit St. Peter's Basilica at seven in the morning when there were very few other visitors and a wonderful calm atmosphere - and buy fresh supplies for breakfast on the way home through the large wonderful market across the road. - When we had a problem with the Internet connection, Teresa was extremely helpful. - The Metro st. is a 10 min walk so getting to the flat from Termini is very easy. We can certainy recommend Teresa's flat and would enjoy staying again.
The apartment was wonderful! The neighborhood was off the beaten tourist path and the Mercato Trionfale right across the street was a real plus! We had a lot of restaurant choices nearby and you can actually see the St. Peter's dome from the balcony! Teresa was a most gracious hostess who had some goodies waiting for us and the kitchen is well-enough equipped to cook several meals! The apartment was comfortable, the balcony was delightful, and it was one of the best parts of our visit to Rome! Mille Grazie Teresa!!
Great apartment - very good located, just 300 meters from entrence to Vatican Museums. Apartment has great taras, you can spend a lot of time there. Nice, fully equiped kitchen - two bathrooms. Apartment has it`s own, individual character - it is really nice to live there. Our host, prepare everything very well, she was waiting for us for late hours - Teresa - thank you a lot
Teresa's apartment is the perfect base from which to explore Rome... located in an area where you are more likely to encounter locals than other tourists... yet it's close to public transit and the Metro, so getting to all the major sites takes less than 30 minutes. Teresa is an extremely thoughtful and kind host. There was a bottle of wine, some fruit, milk and other items in the very well equipped kitchen. The entire apartment is beautifully decorated and comfortable, the perfect place to relax at the end of a day of exploring Rome. Teresa met us at the apartment in person and answered every question we had. She also arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station when our stay was over. Top marks for this wonderful apartment and thank you Teresa!
We visited Roma the day after the canonization of blesseds JOHN XXIII AND JOHN PAUL II. To say the city was packed was an understatement. But staying in Teresa's flat was the perfect location to be a part of the action (you could walk to the Vatican in three blocks)...and then escape to a more calm and normal home-like neighborhood.
The flat itself was lovely. It is filled with art and artifacts. The kitchen was beautifully stocked with the basics and in addition, Teresa left berries, wine and bread. There was a gracious balcony room that allowed you to escape outside for wine. We enjoyed a most beautiful view in all directions.
Plenty of hot water, central location, many delicious neighborhood restaurants, a fully stocked kitchen, and a hostess that was amazing...who could ask for anything more?
Teresa is a very good host-we felt like staying in a friend’s apartment. She did welcome shopping for us and gave us all the info we needed to enjoy Rome. Her apartment is very charming and exactly as described, located in a quiet neighbourhood with lovely restaurants and cafes. I would definitely stay there again.
We spent 4 wonderful days in Teresa’s beautiful apartment during our family vacation in Rome.
Teresa is a wonderful host. She kindly let us to do early check-in. She prepared a map for us, gave us information about nearby restaurants, shops, markets, public transportation and tourist advice. She offered us lots of fresh food including fruit and vegetables, bread, bakeries, eggs and milk besides coffee, tea and pasta etc., much more than we could finish them within 4 days. She also arranged a taxi for us to the airport on our depart day.
The apartment has lots of space, very clean, well furnished and very comfortable. The well equipped kitchen allowed us cock nice meals and feel at home. There is a very large market (excellent!) and small supermarket nearby. Restaurants nearby are also very good. We visited St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City for several times during day and night, because it takes only 10 minutes walk to get there. Teresa’s apartment is truly in the best location in Rome.
We will definitely plan to visit Rome again and wish to stay at Teresa’s place.
We spent four fabulous days in Teresa's beautiful apartment. It was already my second visit. Teresa is a perfect host, the apartment is amazing. It is located in walking distance of the Vatican and the museums. Just over the road there is a market you should definitely pay a visit and just next door there is a restaurant that sells delicious pastry. We are definitely coming back.
I had to move to Rome for 2 month and I stayed at Teresa's house. It's perfectly located, 5 minutes walk from Vaticano's Museum and 10 from San Pietro's cathedral. But 10 real minutes, not that 10 minutes that then become 25 ...
The subway stations are also close (much more considering Rome's distances). If you go to Cipro's station (5-7 minutes walking) don't miss the "pizzarium", a great "pizza al taglio" place, and if you go to Ottaviano's station (the other one close to the house) don't miss the ice cream at the corner.
The house is really confortable and the terrace is simply amazing (private terrace, not shared). The WiFi connection is good enough even to support video conferences without problems.
Teresa is not only friendly and kindly but also proactive. When there had been any problem (always minimum, lamps. etc.) she repaired it inmediately. I know that this should be normal, but is not usual ... Besides, as I said before, she tried proactively to improve the facilities.
I would definitely return and I absolutely recommend it to have a pleasant stay at Rome.
Thanks Teresa, you made my life easy while I was there.
