It is a delightful penthouse 300 yards from the entrance to Vatican museum, located in a deco three store building, dated 1910, in the hearth of Rome , Cipro very close to metro stations (the house is located half way between metro line A stationstops Ottaviano and Cipro), taxi and bus stops. Salve! Teresa was an excellent and charming host. She even supplied us with an Easter bread! Her apartment was amazing and culturally decorated located in a very Roman neighborhood so you don't feel like a tourist. Definitely will stay here again. Millie Grazie Hermosa! Cheers!
I really enjoyed our time at this apartment. Teresa presented us with a spotless apartment as well as some drinks, fruit and breakfast items on the house for us to enjoy. I LOVE the kitchen. It's modern and one of the biggest that I've seen in a family home in Europe. The mercado across the street is FANTASTIC. While we were there a group was receiving an educational food tour. It was also a very easy walk to the Vatican. The restaurants and cafes up and down the street were excellent as well. The only little thing was we had some problems with continuous warm water for the shower, so we just ended up drawing a nice bath instead.
Thank you Teresa for the warm welcome! Very friendly, caring and helpful hosts!
Thank you Teresa for tasty products food she has left for our arrival, was a basket of fresh fruit and chocolate, champagne and Christmas cake were amazing!
The apartment is beautiful and fully meets the description and photo, beautiful, comfortable and very cosy, large terrace. The apartment is located in a quiet area and very convenient location, the Vatican Museum and basilica St. Peter's very close. Opposite the house is very good market, the Mercato Trionfale, where you can buy fresh and tasty products that are much cheaper than in the store, nearby is a very good pastry shop and a pizzeria. As is near a supermarket and a pharmacy.
To all our friends we will recommend this apartment.
Rome is a beautiful city, it is necessary to go back! We definitely will come back again and will stay in the apartment Teresa!
Sorry for not having done the feedback but yesterday i had some problems because someone has stolen my wallet before taking the plane.
Although the door was old and it seems that you had some problems in the past with it, we could lock it and unlock it during the stay without problems.
Regarding the squeezer the first day we saw it was already broken so we used the plastic one.
We thoroughly enjoyed our month in Rome and choosing this apartment was a huge factor in the success of the trip. Our hostess, Teresa, met us at the apartment and made us feel very welcome. She showed us around the apartment and pointed out various locations in the neighbourhood, such as supermarkets and restaurants etc. She kindly left us some provisions for breakfast and beyond, including some bread, butter, jam, fresh fruit and a bottle of prosecco! These were most appreciated as it meant we could have breakfast on our first morning before going out. The apartment and everything about is were just as described - very charming and really well located across the road from the most wonderful market in Rome, Mercato Trionfale. If you like to cook it has everything; even if you don't you would find plenty to eat from the top quality cheeses, meats, fish, fruit and vegetables. We ate in most nights cooking with the fresh ingredients from the market and the kitchen was equipped to meet our needs. It was really easy to get around with a subway 5 minutes away and bus services nearby. There is a laundromat very close by. The apartment is small but comfortable and home-like, with lots of books! Although a few hundred metres from the Vatican Museum, it doesn't seem like a touristy part of town and we felt like we were living as part of the local community.
