I booked this place for my family who came to visit Bard for my graduation and they loved it! The house is beautiful, very spacious, peaceful and surrounded by nature. Perfect location, close to Red Hook, Tivoli, Rhinebeck, Hudson and other local spots. Paul is a great host and provided my family with everything they needed during their stay. Highly recommended!

I stayed here with my two young daughters. We had picnics in the green meadows behind the barn and dinners on the screened in porch. The house is beautiful, retaining many original touches but with a clean modern kitchen and baths. If you too are visiting friends at Bard or looking for a relaxing retreat in the Hudson Valley, you should definitely stay here. Also, if the weather fails to cooperate...Paul has the most extensive personal library :)

My girlfriends and I decided to spend NYE away from NYC, and thank goodness we found Paul's lovely farmhouse. It had everything we imagined and more, we are beyond thrilled! Paul is a great host, he left everything ready for us to enjoy our stay without any hassles. We strongly recommend this place for a short and relaxing getaway. The little town is also very nice, lots of vintage stores and record shops to wonder around.

A seriously beautiful house in such a beautiful part of the world. Paul was a pleasure to deal with and everything was perfectly spot on. Can't recommend enough.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the farmhouse with another couple for Thanksgiving weekend. Paul was very communicative and his home and space were beautiful. We cooked a traditional Thanksgiving meal and the kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything and anything you could want--beautiful plates, mugs, glasses and every pot and pan we needed. The home and all the details (iron hinges, wooden beams, dutch door) are beautiful and the location is great. It's an easy drive to Red Hook (Charlie O's and Taste Budd's!) and an easy driving distance from Kingston and Rhinebeck where we got cocktails at Beekman's and went antique'ing. Paul's property is beautiful to look out on from the screened in porch and go for a late afternoon walk. The four of us hung out at the house for the majority part of the trip and used the jacuzzi, cooked, ate, drank whiskey and wine and read. It was a great and easy weekend getaway from Manhattan. Thanks Paul!

Loved our stay at Paul's place. Spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated farmhouse. Lovely screened porch with views over the fields where you can watch deer in the evenings.

I could write a few pages about how wonderful this house is. We had the most comfy, wonderful stay in Paul's house. My husband and I arrived late after a crazy, delayed overnight flight. When that exhausted it is so nice to arrive at an Airbnb and feel like it is better than the pictures. It heated up in minutes and the hot tub was ready for us and of course the fabulous bed with scrumptious linens. People don't understand how important the linens are and since I also run an Airbnb I am very aware of how it makes sleeping in a foreign bed that much more relaxing. We walked around and loved every square inch of the place. I have lived in Tivoli, my 2nd daughter was born at my midwifes house in Albany, and I know this area and the many beautiful houses and people and this one ranks in the top level. We have a daughter at Bard and when we visit we will have to only stay here. Perfect location, perfect set up. Organic feel about everything including soaps, etc. My style in every way. We can't say enough about this place, except "Your not gonna want to leave"! Thank you so much, Gary and Rita

Hi, I'm one of the hundreds -- or thousands? -- of fiction writers currently living in the mid-Hudson Valley. Most of my travel takes place in my imagination, but I do sometimes go places. Just like you, perhaps?
