Spacious studio apartment with bed, foldout couch, full kitchen, desk, WI-FI, A/C, shower/tub, TV with Wii powered Netflix, and balcony that looks out onto Empire State, Chrysler, and 9/11 Memorial buildings.
Apartment is perfect for a couple, but can sleep up to four with foldout couch. Also great temporary person in NYC on business with fully equipped office with desk, printer, WI-FI.
Located in heart the of Williamsburg surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and nightlife. On quiet street near all the action without the noise.
The Graham Ave L Train stop is literally around the corner (on the same block) so you can be in Manhattan in 10 minutes. Also buses a plenty.
Spencer is the absolute best host. My boyfriend and I just took a vacation to NYC and had originally reserved another Airbnb space. After our other space suffered a fire (I know, completely bizarre - a complete accident as well) Spencer arranged to take us in last minute - he was even out of town! The place was clean, in a perfect location, had an L train stop on the block and communication with Spencer and his friend in the city was so easy. I highly recommend staying here!
The apartment was in the perfect location for our trip and was a nice little place to call home for 5 days. Spencer was really great to work with leading up to our arrival and checked in a couple times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, as well.
Spencer's place is very conveniently located, neat and cozy. Stayed here during a snow storm and was happy to have all the creature comforts of home. Great place to stay warm during a winter trip to NYC!
We very much enjoyed our stay in NY. Spencer was a very considerate and attentive host who did his upmost to make sure all was well and we felt welcome.
We would come back again and stay in this cozy studio.
Everything about this apartment was great! Dealing with Spencer was very pleasant and easy. He always replied to messages and questions incredibly quickly and was very helpful.
The place itself is in a perfect position! Only 2 minutes from the L train, which takes you not only straight into Manhattan, but also to the heart of Williamsburg in less than ten minutes. Around the apartment itself are a lot of restaurants, bars, convenience stores etc. We had Mexican, burgers, great coffee and heroes all within a minute's walk from the apartment.
While it is not a big apartment, it has everything you need and is definitely big enough for a couple. Personally, I would only stay there with more than one other person in summer, when you want to be mostly outside anyway.
The only issue we had was that one day it was freezing cold (-16 degrees Celsius) and the apartment wouldn't heat up properly. On all other cold days is was fine though.
I would definitely recommend staying here!
We had a very good time in NYC and the appartment is located in a great area! The only problem we had was the heat that wouldn't work properly in the beginning. But Spencer was easy to reach, very cooperative and considerate - a good host so! :)
The apartment was great and we really enjoyed the little balcony outside with a great view of the city. It was an ideal location just mins away from the train station, with lots of restaurants and delis near by and Spencer was really on top of communications with me on everything. All in all a really good experience with Airbnb and we will definitely use it again.
We had great time to stay this room. The location is near from here to Graham Ave station(L line). There is some deli, mexican restaurant, Italian restraurant and coffee house around this room.
The host is wonderful host. He touched to us very kindly.
This room is width apt for a couple.
A repeat visit to Spencer's apartment was definitely a good decision. Why risk the unknown! I feel the most important quality about a host is their responsiveness to a guest's inquiries and it's reassuring to know a host is always accessible. Spencer excels in this category! The apartment is ideal is all respects. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Thanks Spencer for waiting for us to arrive and preparing us raspberry tea! He was very responsive both before and during our stay, especially when it came to minor stuff about where we should be leaving the keys. We're glad to have stayed in a place 10 minutes away from the main parts of NYC, especially after slogging may long days walking around in the city.
