The space
Aiteannach

The house gets its name from the area being known for its juniper - Aiteannach is Gaelic for 'place where juniper grows'.

We accept four guests (including children) and up to one additional infant. Please contact us with any queries about this.

This property is recently built to a very high standard with triple glazing throughout and underfloor heating. Fixtures, fittings and most furnishings are brand new with some quirky upcycled and antique pieces too.

Two bedrooms at the rear of the property - one double and one twin, both with fitted wardrobes with full length mirrors. Roman blinds to the triple glazed aluminium clad windows. Soft fluffy white towels provided. Hairdryer.

Generous hallway with plenty of space to store coats, boots and outdoor equipment.

Bathroom houses (in purpose built cupboard) washing machine/tumble dryer, items for babies such as potty and high chair, iron and ironing board and clothes airer. Rainfall shower over bath and sink with vanity storage.

To the front of the property is a vaulted ceiling living space with sitting area, smart TV and kitchen and dining space. Velvet chairs and sofa and woodburning stove provide a wonderful space to relax and unwind. Fixed panes of glass allow views and light to be maximised. Wide 3 metre patio doors lead out to a covered patio area for evening drinks or BBQs.

The property is situated on a croft (small farm) and is surrounded by fields and trees and set back from the single track road with private parking and garden area. The driveway is shared with the owners who also live on the croft.

Guest access
Private parking available and key box for contactless access.

Other things to note
We recommend you do a food shop before you arrive. The nearest big supermarkets are in Fort William or Inverness, depending on your direction of travel. With a smaller shop in Fort Augustus and a garage with basic supplies in the village.

We do not have satellite or terrestrial television at the property. You will need to bring you log in details for Netflix, BBC, All4 etc to use the internet smart TV.

We provide wood free of charge for the log burner.
