This was my first airbnb experience and overall we really enjoyed our stay. It is incredibly close to everything you need. It has the bare necessities bed, toilet, shower and a sink (the sink plug was broken when we arrived and remained that way). The location is great and what you are paying for. I wasn't responded to as quickly as I would have liked and found it not well organized. I received a £200 request for a broken washing machine before I'd even left for my holiday and when I said I was slightly anxious given I'd had no response to my queries and then received the incorrect request of £200 for the broken washing machine was told to "calm down" which I found incredibly rude. Alex who helped us check in was great, he was very polite and easy to get in contact with. It would have been nice to have the washing machine working while we were there and the bathroom basin sink plug. When I advised of the broken sink plug and asked a couple of questions I received very prompt responses. Overall we really enjoyed our time there but the pre-check in could use some improvement.
I stayed in this apartment for 6 nights. The location in Soho was exceptional. The apartment itself was on the top floor and bright. Despite its location and nearby construction there was not an excess of street noise. I did not feel the apartment was particularly clean, one of the window shades was broken, the bed was squeaky, the walls paper thin, the main bedroom light did not turn on, the bathroom light was very dim, and the furnishings were quite cheap and minimal at best. It reminded me of a budget dormitory. As I only used the place to shower and sleep and as I spent only a minimal amount of time in the apartment it sufficed. I would not have felt comfortable cooking or eating in the apartment. I think, perhaps, this apartment may have a high turnover and that there is no time for a cleaning person/crew to ready the place for new visitors. It's obvious this is not a studio in which anyone ever has lived. I believe with a minimal investment this place could provide a much nicer experience: thorough cleaning, fixing the the things which are broken, better lighting, slightly less cheap furnishings and better supplies.
Despite all this I could possibly recommend the place for short visits where you need a place to drop your luggage in a central location. Leo, the person who greeted me, was very, very friendly.
I had a great stay at this apartment. The apartment was small but being in London I wanted to be out in the city as much as possible, so the size of the room didn't matter. The apartment was right in the heart of London so there was always lots to do and amazing restaurants near by. The shower pressure was the only thing that wasn't impressive but overall I had a great stay.
Owner was at the apartment on time. Also on time to pickup the keys when leaving which was nice. Everything went smoothly.
Washing machine and dryer available
Bed is a little rough on one side and makes a lot of noise when moving around. Especially at night.
The shower doesn't spray too much water but it's enough to shower
The bathroom door does not close. You have to prevent it from closing using anything you find.
You can hear quite a lot of noise from outside the room (hallway) from other people. The first night I thought someone was breaking in to the room but it was just the door from a neighbour closing. The doors are quite thin. The overall noise level is quite low besides the neighbours.
Great small studio in the city centre! Great value for money! Clean and warm. I stayed there twice and always felt great.
