Our property is located on the Rio Dulce (river) at the mouth of a large bay that opens to the Carribean. We are a 5 minute walk to the center of town, 45 minute walk or 10 minute taxi ride ($3.00) to a beautiful beach and then walk another 1/2 hour to 7 waterfalls in the jungle or you can take a launcha for a day tour to Playa Blanca (White beach). Livingston is safe, you can walk around at night feeling secure.
Livingston is small and you can walk everywhere or grab a taxi for a dollar or 2.

Stuart est un hôte extrêmement gentil. Nous avons dû écourter notre séjour et il a tout fait pour nous satisfaire.
Solid stay for a solid price. Good food. Looks even more promising for the future.
Stuart made us feel incredibly welcome. He went out of his way to make feel us at home! He is probably the most attentive host there is!
The food.. If you are into food as much as we are then you will LOVE it at stuarts! The breakfast is delicious and the dinner menu is amazing. You cannot miss his TOPADO - its the best in town!
Also, he tried to organize a fishing tour with a local fisherman, however the fisherman never responded so stuart decided to take us out himself!! Which was a great experience:)
The rooms are basic and spacious and the balkony has a lovely view.
If you are thinking about visiting Livingston then The Casa Nostra is 100% your best choice!
I had an amazing stay with Stuart. First you have to see Livingston to understand what kind of service he is giving. I really liked my stay with him. Don't think twice to book a room from his facility. Rooms are spacious, with a balcony to enjoy the sea view. Wi-fi working well in the rooms. Downstairs, there is the best restaurant in town which is also run by Stuart. Heaven, eh?
Stuart is such a lovely host! Very helpful and kind.
We were lucky enough to spend the 2 nights in the new place. Very clean and beds were comfortable. The view was amazing!
Since the place is still being renovated, the bathroom was still under a bit of construction. However, things were still being fixed as we were leaving. Should be awesome soon.
Highly recommend this place!
we stayed at Stuart's new location for 3 nights. the view from our room was absolutely gorgeous. the room was well kept and clean. we were even given a high powerered fan and did not get hot at all. Stuart let us use his kayaks for the day and gave us some great recommendations. unfortunately we missed the opening of his restaurant by one day!
About the Host, Stuart
Ex banker, moved to Livingston 3.5 years ago from Arizona. I married a Guatemalan, Soledad and we opened our bed and breakfast in a great location. I buy my shrimp, calamari and fish from the boats docked off our back dock. We only use really fresh ingredients and are proud of our food and accomodations. We have 3 bedrooms and can accomodate up to 8 guests. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing and we can help you get the most out of your trip to Guatemala. I can help arrange Kayaking, boat tours, walking tours, fishing trips, snorkeling trips to the Cayos of Southern Belize or if you are a boater you can rent your own boat.
This is not the Taj mahal but it is our home and is very clean and comfortable. Anything you want, please just ask. We are known for our food so if you love great food I would love to have you.
