One of the best air bnb's we've ever stayed in. Big, clean rooms with comfortable beds and a balcony with a beautiful view over the garden and Rio Dulce (I recommend waking up for the sunrise!). The food is delicious and the portions are big. Stuart is an amazing host and helps you with everything you could possibly need. We wish we could have stayed here longer.

Truly a gem. Stuart went above and beyond in accommodating our bigger than normal group. Service was excellent and food was great. Whatever if anything was lacking was made up with the great service and hospitality we all received. I don't know if he does this for everyone since it has to be so difficult to make time but even having him send us off on his dock was very nice. Felt like we would be missed.

We had a perfect stay at Stuart's place. We have never met a more attentive than him. His restaurant also serves delicious meals for a fair price. For those who are into it, Stuart even offers fishing trips with local guides and maybe he'll come along as well. So all in all we can highly recommend staying at Casa Nostra! :)

Response from Stuart:
You guys were great to have. Please come back if you have time. I think I am opening a new place on a banana plantation with 100 horses, near El Estor, near hot waterfalls and a beautiful canyon. Look me up in the future.

Stuart puts every effort into making this a comfortable place to stay, and also a destination. We enjoyed using his kayaks and eating our meals in the restaurant. We relaxed with drinks (coconuts from the property!) by the water. Stuart was incredibly helpful with travel and logistical advice. If you come to Livingston, stay here!

Ex banker, moved to Livingston 3.5 years ago from Arizona. I married a Guatemalan, Soledad and we opened our bed and breakfast in a great location. I buy my shrimp, calamari and fish from the boats docked off our back dock. We only use really fresh ingredients and are proud of our food and accomodations. We have 3 bedrooms and can accomodate up to 8 guests. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing and we can help you get the most out of your trip to Guatemala. I can help arrange Kayaking, boat tours, walking tours, fishing trips, snorkeling trips to the Cayos of Southern Belize or if you are a boater you can rent your own boat.
This is not the Taj mahal but it is our home and is very clean and comfortable. Anything you want, please just ask. We are known for our food so if you love great food I would love to have you.
