Exceptionally renovated historic home located along the banks of the Bayou Teche, a quick 8 mile ride to New Iberia or Franklin.

Enjoy unparalleled views and comfort, surrounded by sugar cane fields, you will relax in spacious rooms furnished with fine antiques and all new mattresses and bedding.

There are wide porches and balconies where the old oak trees provide extra enchantment and beauty.

The space
Located along a two lane road and situated on eight manicured acres, the entire property is available to explore and create memories for you and your loved ones.

A gracious horseshoe drive brings you to the expansive front door and porch from which you can see graceful oak trees and the magnificent sugar cane fields that surround the property. In the rear of the home are additional porches, a screened in porch off the kitchen and views of the large yard, bayou and cypress trees.

Walk into the old world charm of our entrance salon, large dining room and several graceful en-suite bedrooms.

The furnishings are mostly local pieces, befitting the elegance of this former farm home. Fabulous four poster and teester beds add to the old world charm, but outfitted with new mattresses and luxurious bedding and fresh puffy pillows.

Updated kitchen with air fryer and custom cypress vent and counters offer a healthy and productive atmosphere in which to immerse yourselves in the extraordinary large space and gorgeous surroundings.

New Iberia hosts a noteworthy Main Street, featuring many small shops and restaurants, and Jeanerette begins just a mile away featuring not only easy convenience stores, but also, Lejeune French Bread Bakery, the most noted bread bakery in the south and fine local provisions at small markets with local favorites such as boudin and smoked sausage.

A short drive away offers other sightseeing destinations as Konriko Rice Mill, Shadows on the Teche, the Tobasco factory, Jefferson Island and Jungle Gardens.
