About this listing
Century-old building in the heart of Gaeta, ten minutes walking to the beach, one minute to the seaside. 2014 reviews missing because of season-long renovation: new AC, sofa bed, paint job and general re-decorating.
18th Century building, painted white, nicely furnished with modern accessories, fully equipped kitchen, one double bedroom, two small single bedrooms, one double sofa bed, 2 bathrooms both with shower and window, air conditioning, large terrace, washing machine, right in the centre of Gaeta, next to all shopping facilities, restaurants and café, 10 minutes walk from the nicest beach, 1 minute walking to the sea.
Perfect for a relaxing summer holiday. Ideal for warm winters. Gaeta is half way between Rome and Naples, close to the Amalfi coast, Pompei and Capri and Ponza islands and is a splendid seaside town with beautiful views and many religious and historical buildings. The town has many medieval lanes and streets. There is a large castle, Roman monuments and wonderful beaches. The apartment is in one of the little alleys (Vichi) that start from Via della Indipendenza (with all the shops and craft centres nearby) and leads to the sea at Lungomare Caboto where you can find the harbour and buy fish directly from the fishing boats.
The apartment is on the second and third floor of an ancient building which has been completely restored.
