My space offers a private bedroom in my 2 bedroom apartment. The room has cable tv and the apartment has WIFI. I have 2 dogs, Bell (9 yo) and Desdemona (10 mo). I am a gay male, 35 years old, and love to meet new people. I love to cook, and am happy to provide meals (i'm a trained chef). I work from home and I'm available to assist with travel details and or reservations as needed. The apartment is located on 30th street between 8th and 9th Ave. Penn Station is 2 blocks away. The A, C, and E trains are just up the street on 8th Ave and 33rd St. The location is a perfect starting point to experience NYC. The new "Highline Park" entrance is straight down 30th St. If you're driving here, there are 2 parking garages on the block (you may want to check for coupons online before parking) . There are way too many things to see and do to list here... it's NYC. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Stayed with Lee while in town for a developer conference. Good location. Good place. Enjoyed it!
Gracious and accommodating host. Convenient location and adorable dogs.
Lee is a good host. His appartment is very conveniently located, the key handover went super smooth, it's quiet at night, I had a large bed and a tidy room. For my first booking with Airbnb, this was a really good experience. Thanks Lee!
Lee was an excellent host. Very responsive and very accommodating to all our requests. Cooking us breakfast in the morning was definitely a nice plus! Lee is a great guy with lots of interesting stories to tell. Also his, dogs were some of the most docile and friendly pets I have ever met. I had a great time and the convenience of the location can't be beat.
I had a great time visiting NYC and staying with Lee made it oh so much more enjoyable. This was my first Air B&B stay. A former NYer myself in younger years, Lee added to that sweet memory of myself living the NY life @ the NY pace. He was not only a good host but I got to witness him showing up for a friend- by being a friend. Pretty cool, he's a nice guy. I stayed 7 days and arrived at the tale end of the arctic freeze. I had searched last January's posts to see if anyone commented that his place was warm - didn't see any mention - & so I wanted to be sure and post that it was nice and warm in frigid weather -perfect- very cozy, quiet and clean. A dog owner myself, his two dogs are sweet-hearts making me feel even more at home. The multiple subway lines via the entrance to Penn Station at 31st and 8th Ave (a rocks throw) made it a very easy, warm and dry dash to everywhere you can possibly want to go in some inclement weather. Oh, and the breakfasts he created were a really nice treat :) Thanks Lee- I will be back!
Lee was a great host to us! He answered every question we had about the city, what to do and how to get there. He was super welcoming and we never felt uncomfortable. He cooked for us most mornings, which was a great treat (he is a wonderful cook)! The apartment itself is in a great location, right by the subway and walking distance to some of the big attractions. We would definitely stay again.
My short trip to New York was made all the better by a stay with Lee and his adorable girls. Lee was accomodating and the perfect host with quite a knack for a home cook.
Room was clean comfortable and quiet and a stones throw a away from Penn station where you can catch the LIRR to JFK.
A great find and cant wait to stay again.
My stay with Lee was GREAT. Great location. Great host. Great chef. Great adviser of places to visit in New York. Great pet "dad" to two wonderful dogs. Great sense of humor. Great fun to be with. I look forward to a return visit.
Lee is a very nice host , very welcoming and helpful. The room is a nice size and clean but quite dusty. The windows in the room are towards the living room so there is no natural light in the room. The rest of the apartment is very untidy and dusty. The windows in the living room are always covered by the blinds so no light ever enters the apartment. There is no space in the bath room to put toiletries so they have to be carried back and forth from the room which I found quite annoying. All in all this was probably the most depressing place I have ever spend any time and it was really not worth the money. I was happy I had the opportunity to leave earlier than planned.
I really enjoyed staying a Lee's. His apartment is in a great location with lots of nearby food and transit options. The guest room is clean and comfortable and the WiFi is reliable. Lee is a wonderful host and his two dogs are super sweet. He's easy to communicate with and made my visit effortless.
