My space offers a private bedroom in my 2 bedroom apartment. The room has tv and the apartment has WIFI. I have 2 dogs, Bell ( 11 yo) and Desdemona (3 yo). I am a gay male, 39 years old. I love to cook, most mornings I make coffee and breakfast (some days it's not possible due to time/work constraints). I work from home and I'm available to assist with travel details and or reservations as needed. The apartment is located on 30th street between 8th and 9th Ave. Penn Station is 2 blocks away. The A, C, and E trains are just up the street on 8th Ave and 33rd St. The location is a perfect starting point to experience NYC. The new "Highline Park" entrance is straight down 30th St. If you're driving here, there are 2 parking garages on the block (you may want to check for coupons online before parking) . There are way too many things to see and do to list here... it's NYC. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
kitchen, bathroom, fresh towels and linens and of course, the dogs ;-)
Interaction with Guests
since I work from home I'm available, if guests need me I'm generally around.
transit is very easy... penn station is two blocks away.
Not many rules...
Most important, please don't feed Bell or Desdemona any food. The girls are both very cute and very crafty, they will try but please be strong and withstand the urge. (Dez has food allergies) Always lock the door when you leave the apartment even if it's just to go across the street. Turn off lights in the bedroom when you leave and just ask if you have any questions.
Lee is great host, really kind and welcoming.
The location is excellent and the room is comfortable for me. And furthermore, His two dogs are really cute and friendly!
Lee was very welcoming. The location was one block away from Penn Station which was awesome.
I guess the photos are old, the apt was quite different. The room is small but enough for one. The apt is small and the building is old, so u can hear footsteps, tv, (email hidden) was noisy at night and in the morning like 8am, so I had to use ear plugs. The location is really good, depending on what ure planning to do in NY. Bathroom could've been cleaner. Hosts were helpful with my bags and my late arrival (1am). There were relatively well rated hotels with similar prices in the surrondings.
The best location!!! Literally a minute away from Penn Station, so it is really easy for arriving in and also going around the town. The room is nice and clean, and the apartment is really cozy. Lee is really nice and helpful, and offers even supper or coffee sometime. Two lovely dogs are so cute, but if you don't like dogs, could be difficult.
Location - Location - Location.
Lee kept in great contact with me before and during my stay. His dogs are sweet. I would stay here again.
Even it was a last minute request, communicating with Lee was quick and easy. The place was clean, had everything what I needed and Lee even offered breakfast! Also, the room is quiet, what is hard to find in NYC. The location of the apartment is very convenient and easy to get around. Recommend!
Lee, thanks for the warm welcome and the very pleasant stay in your apartment. The short distance between the apartment and Penn station was very convenient (especially because of our late arrival), as well as to get around New York quickly. We very much appreciate Lee's friendly, fast and accurate communication.

I'm pretty relaxed, I work for myself and work from home so I'm generally pretty accessible for guests. I love to cook and hang with friends... always up for a fun night out.
