Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Charming studio apartment in the lower level of an older Victorian home. It offers a private entrance that includes a full/sized wall bed, handy kitchenette, free streaming TV service and hi-speed wi-fi. Family oriented neighborhood, that offers free on-street parking, plus an easy walk to the metro system.The secure space is well-designed and perfectly suited for 2 adults, no children.

The space
Airy, light-filled apartment that offers an intimate, homey atmosphere. It offers private accommodations that will work well for business and leisure-oriented travelers. The space and sleeping accommodations are suitable for 2 adults.

Guest access
Since the host and family live in the upper floors of the house, guests do not have use of the yard or patio areas near the Airbnb apartment.

Check in is 4 pm-8 pm. Please notify us if you plan to arrive after 8pm. Check out time is 12 noon. Early check in is not available.
 
Entry and Keys
 Guests will be given a key upon arrival, and the deadbolt entry code. Guests will return key upon checking out. While in the space, use the deadbolt top lock for security.
 
Smoking
 
This is a 100% non-smoking environment. You may wish to smoke outside in the backyard.

 Free, wireless Internet access is available, and DirectTV Satellite.
 
Guest Amenities
 Guest basket of snacks and water will be provided, and sample skin, bath and hair products are available for your use. There is a clock radio with alarm, and a small CD/radio music system.

Free on–street parking is available in front of the house.

 The apartment has an electric “fireplace” heat and can be adjusted as needed for comfort.
 
Sleeping
 The wall bed opens as double sleeping bed, and the couch also adjusts to serve as sleeping space for one person. Extra bedding, pillows and blankets are located in the storage area of the couch.
 
Eating & Food
 A small refrigerator, microwave and oven/toaster are provided. Kitchenette includes small eating space with dishes and utensils. A listing of area restaurants and eating establishments are provided in a separate listing.
 
Public Transit
The Metrorail is easy walking distance from the Pied a Terre. MetroBus service is a block away.
